I ordered delivery from postmates today. Food arrived hot and fresh. The boudin balls are great. The catfish and shrimp basket is great. However, the green beans were gross. So much grease! I will order from this location again but stick to corn or fries as my side.

I didn’t get the waitress name but she was an exceptional individual, a young Beautiful Black girl. My food was nice and hot, the portions were perfect. I had to take some of it home and the Swamp Thing was very good. I will visit again.

I love this restaurant, we were here 6/17/23, our server REE was OUTSTANDING, she EXCEEDED our EXPECTATIONS! REE was on point, she didn’t miss a beat. She suggested an appetizer as well as the meal I ordered. I observed her with other tables and she had just as much energy! REE, continue to put smiles on your customers face!

It started off good with the waitress taking our order and they called her away. Then everything went left really quick. I like my catfish extra crispy and it came out really soggy. The fries was a little warm along with red beans and rice. I asked for a spoon for the red beans and rice twice. Finally got one and all the food was cold. Then when I told the waitress about my food she said what you want me to do. Like I did something wrong. Never got a refill on my Sweet TeaI called into restaurant to have a manager come to my table. We waited over 10 minutes for one to come over. But Ro made everything great.

My husband & I decided to stop here because I had a taste for their wings. We ordered wings & our meal at the same time although the wings were intended to be an appetizer. My husband started eating on a wing & while he was eating it I saw that it was bleeding. I said don’t eat another bite! I immediately called the waiter over, showed him the wing & asked for a manager. The manager who refused to give his real name, told us to refer to him as KJ because everyone at corporate knows him as KJ. Although the wing was self explanatory, I told him that we received a batch of raw wings. He had an attitude about it & the most negative energy! He said well I can send these back & bring you another order. He didn’t say I’m sorry this happened, are you feeling okay? Or I can replace these for you & take care of charges? Would you like a dessert on the house? Nothing to show any empathy for the situation. After he picked up the wings to remove them from the table, I told him I had taken a picture for evidence in case my husband gets sick. He just looked at me with a blank stare, again no apology or compassion. I lost my appetite after that & decided not to eat the meal I’d ordered. My husband ate his meal due to medical reasons. Our waiter came over and apologized several times as well as checked on us. I told him that he should be the manager because he has more compassion for customers than the one that is actually in the position. I am done eating here after this experience! Compassion cannot be bought or taught, you either have it or you don’t!

The Arlington location isn’t as good as the downtown fort Worth location. The ambiance nor the food. The rice was not seasoned well. The adult beverage was not put together well. The ice/blended mixture was off. I had 2 different waiters but I propose that was a positive thing.

Took 20 minutes to get our first (therefore only) drink. Even though we waited 10 minutes between ordering our appetizer and dinner, they came out together, 35 minutes later. No matter how much you want to freshen up before leaving, do not. Go to a gas station…anywhere! So gross! I imagine the kitchen the same.
