Wan Wan is a throwback to Old Phuket-style restaurants where you see the local Thai and immigrant Chinese cooking blend together. The outcome is something familiar yet altogether unique in style. This sophomore project from the team behind beloved Wayla showcases lesser-seen plates to share and a repertoire of noodle dishes alongside refreshing drinks.

First visit to this nolita Thai restaurant. I had the noodles with fried chicken and crispy kale. I loved it. We shared among the four of us two appetizers, one was the curry spring roll, and the other was the shrimp and mango salad. Both were terrific, but the portions were a little small for the price. My husband had the ribs and he seem to enjoy it but he felt it needed some additional flavor. Our other two guests are not experienced Thai food consumers, but they enjoyed their meals. We were there during happy hour from 4 to 7 PM and you get either four dollars off cocktails or two dollars off beer and wine.

Solid Thai food from the Wayla group. Really enjoyed the soups including the lobster Tom Yum and pho-like dish with wagyu. Pork belly app was also great. Nice Asian brunch option.

Great Thai place in Soho! Very tasty menu, good for sharing and fair price. We surprisingly found a table without reservation. The staff was very friendly and the playlist is very good. I reccomend the short rib!

Amazing brunch. Every dish we tried was quite good . 4 of us split a couple dishes to try as much as we can. The pad Kee mow , duck vermicelli noodles and the “pot pie” were all out of this world. Will be back to try the dinner menu

Wan Wan is the sister restaurant of fan favorite Wayla in Chinatown. It’s a more upscale take on Thai food with protein options such as wagyu and lobster to jazz up your entree. We made reservations beforehand and were seated immediately upon arrival.

The shrimp tempura was so tender and juicy. Duck noodles and short ribs were delicious. The non-alcohol drinks were full of flavors. The coconut dessert was OK, not a fan of the texture. The service was very attentive and great!
