No flavor. Tortillas to thick. I love that it’s open late but they need to work on the flavor and how much salt they put. We ordered burritos. Tacos. Fortas. Sopes. Unfortunately all of it lacked flavor. What sucked to was it looked so good but the flavor was not there. I love that there was guacamole in every dish but it still did not hit the spot. And I am was starving. Customer was great for late night.

I’ve come here quite a few times and I can say the tacos are pretty good. Today I got the weekend special of chiles rellenos. They were so good. Reminded of my mom’s great home cooking. Partner got pastor and suadero and they were nice and crispy with good flavor. Trickiest thing is the service is slow and inconsistent. Only one of us got a flavored water so that’s all they brought out, not even waters for the table. Also asked for no onions and there were onions. It’s the service that’s keeping of from a 5 star review and even more repeat business from me.

I’ve eaten here quite a few times the food is a bit inconsistent sometimes it’s great sometimes it’s just ok. I prefer chicken I’ve always gotten generous portions in the tacos. Meat is seasoned good. The steak is of good quality however the seasoning is hit or miss. Rice and beans are ok nothing special they often lack flavor. They offer many drinks The Horchata is a bit sweet for my liking. The green guacamole salsa is great. A bit pricy but they are open 24hrs so it will do for those late night snacks. The wait at this place is absolutely ridiculous. We ordered our drink and sat for 25 almost 30 minutes for the food to come up. When we finally got tired of waiting we flagged down the server to just pay for our drinks they tell us your food is coming up next. Even still we waited an extra 5 minutes. They decided to give us free chips and salsa for the wait. When the food finally came out it was saturated with grease. Completely dissatisfied with everything here.

Quick fix at Tacos El Tio #4. The menu is diverse with many Mexican favorites. First time here and ordered a chicken burrito, chips and guac along with a Michelada. The portions are large enough to share and quite tasty. Standard fillers, lettuce, tomato, beans, cheese and most orders come with a side of beans and queso. Beers are cold, Michelada are tangy and refreshing. We’ll be back for the sopas and tortas as they caught our eye from the next table. Tacos El Tio seemed a bit short staffed on our visit on a Monday.

Good food and margaritas. The staff was very friendly and the place has a nice, casual, low key vibe to it. The lengua burrito is tasty, and I tried some of my girlfriend’s milanesa torta. The steak was nice and tender, I think I’ll get that next time

I had some time one morning and decided to get breakfast here. I place an order for Chilaquiles con huevos, which has been my goto when trying new Mexican restaurants. The portion size is very generous and the flavor was there. The one thing I would have liked to be different is that they seemed to just get some tortilla chip and dump some green sauce on them instead of properly cooking the dish on a pan. Still it’s enjoyable and will fill you up.
