I have been thinking for a long time if I should write this review. Because the place is exceptional in all area and we just wanna keep it for ourselves, but that would be such a selfish thought! Everyone should be able to taste good food because that is the happiest part in life for many of us 🙂

Excellent food, prepared with high quality ingredients and Korean expertise. It’s a small neighborhood restaurant with attention to detail and to each customer. It’s a little on the expensive side, but worth the expense.

Fantastic service and food! Relaxed atmosphere and they easily accommodated a larger group of 6 and gave us the tofu soup on the house. The Gal Bee and Duk Boki were incredible.

I highly recommend this Korean restaurant. The food is home-made, the prices are reasonable, and the side dishes are especially delicious. Spicy pork and spicy squid are excellent and pancake is good, too. The best korean restaurant in San Francisco!!!

Ordered the sam gyeop sal (BBQ pork belly) and sam gye tang (ginseng chicken soup). Both were delicious. Side dishes were nice too. We went at an odd timing and they gave us mandu (dumpling) on the house 🙂

A small neighborhood business located on the SW corner of 5th Avenue and Balboa in the Richmond District. Driven by many times and decided to grab the lunch special. Two lunch combos: 1) spicy pork and tofu soup, and 2) bulgogi and tofu soup. I ordered about 1pm and it was ready quick – within 10 mins. Flavor for both were decent although the bulgogi could have used some more flavoring. Although I got it to go, the tofu soup was still piping hot by the time I got it back to work and ate it! I like my soup hot so that was a bonus for me. With they could have given us a little more baan chaan on the sides because there nice and fresh. The veggies were full of crunch and I liked their kim chi. Next time because their veggies were so good I’m going to try the bibimbap!

Really good mom and pop korean restaurant. The staff is friendly. Food is delicious and comes out very quickly. Banchan (side dishes) are very tasty and the house always gives us free soup or pancakes!

UPDATE 7/2022: They recently renovated the whole place so it’s now got a more modern aesthetic. They also raised the price of their menu items but I still find the food to be worth it!
