Home town feel. Great friendly staff. I’ve been visiting for the past few months and have never been disappointed with my meals. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, the munkee bar is a nice neighborhood bar that definitely shows its been there for a while. Recent renovations are evident giving the place a nicer appeal. The bar features indoor drinks and dining, tables (no table service), and outdoor seating as well as a place to smoke and keep your drink. The taps are clean and crisp. The chefs prepare all food behind the bar which is visible, which is nice to see how clean they are. They have a nice sized menu of foods and apps that are always available. They also run about 10 specials per day for food. Staff is always curteous. Parking is available on the street but I can see it being an issue during busier hours. Music volume as at a level you can talk over. The bar has ac and isn’t afraid to use it. I’ve eaten about 15-20 different dishes and would say the food is on par dining establishments between casual and fine.

I love everything about the Munckee Bar! The Food is Excellent and Hector is the BEST cook. He cooks everything right in front of you at the bar and he cooks with his heart! Everyone is always so friendly and inviting! Great atmosphere! I tell everyone to go to the Munckee Bar!

What a lunch I just had. I stopped in with the guys i work with.. . Ice cold beer on tap, the chef cooked everything right there at the bar, it was amazing to watch this guy cook. He belongs in a fancy restaurant.. the food is phenomenal. Beautiful bartender, music blasting, a ton of regulars in there that were super friendly.. we all had a great experience… all that on a thursday afternoon at 12 o clock…. 5 stars isnt enough to rate this place.
