The owner is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area and everything that I have had there was absolutely delicious contrary to previous posts the new owner/ management are doing a fantastic job bringing it back. They have the most fantastic slow smoked ribs and pork butt sandwich.

Love this place! Great service, we had the steak and burger, both were delicious. Best steak we ever had. Beats any steakhouse! I would recommend this place. Finn is a great chef. Love staying at the resort but it’s hard to get a room at times.

I ordered a BLT….I hadn’t really looked at the menu. Soon after the Chef Anton came out from the kitchen. I heard him tell the bartender that a BLT isn’t on the menu. I spoke up and told the chef that I’d order something else. He said ” no,no I’ll make it. I just don’t want orders sent to me that aren’t on the menu. A couple minutes later he came to ask me what kind of bread I wanted and gave me choices. I chose sourdough. Soon I had the pleasure of a tasty well made BLT. Very good. Anton was very kind and accomodating.

This was the only restaurant open on a Monday in the Lake Roosevelt area. We stayed overnight at the motel next door so we could visit the Tonto National Monument the next day. The menu is small and had a list of burgers and a few sandwiches. It also said they have daily specials and to ask the server. So i did, and he said he didn’t know, and I should just order a hamburger. OK. Medium, please. It came back rare. The place was pretty empty, and the guy waiter took forever to come back to see how things were. We had to ask for silverware and napkins since he forgot to bring them out. My wife ordered a salad and he forgot to bring salad dressing for it so we had to ask the bartender since the waiter disappeared. And to get another beer, I had to go to the bar. So, service was slow, to say the least.

Love the food, im from the east so we enjoy good ole rib smothered in bbq. Steve was our waiter and was always on time to bring us cups of water! He even included lemon in the water!

I understand they have new owners but they have a long way to go. Service was very slow with only 3 patrons in restaurant. Food was cooked prior (except eggs) and warmed up so not freshly prepared.
