My husband and I like to support and try different food places especially minority owned businesses. Our expectations were high just to be disappointed. We ordered the fish sandwich and the 6 egg rolls. First they attempted to give us 1 piece of burnt fish on a toasted roll which we had them replace and for the egg rolls there was very little meat and a whole lot of oil. They didn’t let it drain and those were small and lacking flavor. We also had to ask for napkins because they were not provided with the order. The best thing that we got from this establishment was the extra sweet tea which was very cold made by pure leaf. We will not be coming here or recommending this place to anyone. The staff was very polite and respectful. We asked for the owner and was told they weren’t on the premises.

As a black owned business I really want this place to win, but the food is bland and seriously lack seasoning. Food also tasted like it was all cooked in the same old grease. Food took an hour for three warm (at the most) chicken and fries combos. I will give a second chance, but as of know my review stands. Hopefully the “soul” kicks in and next time it will be better.

I really enjoy their whole wings and ordered some for the Super Bowl early Sunday morning and they canceled my order at 4:55. Big disappointment. Their fries are iffy. The last batch I received was oily.

I am glad to support black own businesses. However I was NOT impressed with the restaurant or the way in which they cook the food. It lacked flavor. Hopefully they will not stop in ways to improve the taste of their food. A lot was missing.
