We drove the 45 minutes from West Ashley because we wanted a good family owned BBQ buffet and we were not disappointed! The variety was great and everything was delicious. Even though it was packed for fathers day we were able to get our food and sit quickly and the servers were very quick to refill drinks and clear tables. Glad we made the trip and will do it again in the future.

Music man’s is an amazing hidden gem. Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon and they had a lunch buffet with plenty of good BBQ options. Everything was fantastic – ribs, chicken, three types of pulled pork, and slaw. I like how the ribs were dry rubbed and not smothered in barbecue sauce. They have a wide variety of sauces on the side that you can use. They also had desserts for folks who are interested in that, I skipped them because I do keto – which by the way this is a really great place for keto and carnivore friendly meal options. Service was superb everyone was friendly and helpful!

The Buffet is really great with a variety of veggies and 3 different flavors of barbecue pork, the mustard base, their original recipe is a little spicy, and the vinegar based. They even have some Weekday specials like catfish or chicken and dumplings that provide entrees for the whole family with different eating preferences. The staff are friendly and keep your iced tea or soft drink glasses filled. One of our family’s favorite places to eat.

My wonderful daughter took me there for the first time everything that I tried was really good. The macaroni and cheese was to die for ❤️ it was Wednesday, so their specialty of the day was chicken and dumplings. They make the drop dumplings, and I am used to the rolled dumplings, but they were still very good ! The dessert was very good ! Their banana pudding had fresh banana’s in it ! Usually other restaurants don’t add bananas so this was a exceptional dessert ❣️ Their chocolate Oreo pudding was delicious too. All in all, you won’t be sorry. I’m ready to go back for more. I wish they would put a barbeque restaurant here in Summerville SC ❤️

Normally this has been one of the best BBQ places for us. They even catered my daughters baptism party. The past 2 times, the food has been really bad. The BBQ is over sauced and none of us enjoyed it. Whatever has changed, please go back to the old way of doing it. We will not be back for a long time.
