First night the service and food was fabulous! Had the $5 Margaritas and Twin Lobster! Best Margaritas I’ve ever had! The owner made them! Our server (who I think was owners daughter) showed us how to eat a whole lobster! She was awesome! So I would have given 5 stars if we wouldn’t have gone back the next night and had the worst service ever! We ordered the Margaritas again and the inexperienced server/bartender made them with orange juice (yes you read that right….orange juice) in a mason jar mug instead of a Margarita glass like we had the night before! Then she served our salads with no dressing and when we asked if we could have dressing she said they had Caesar (we did not have a Caesar salad); Italian; Ranch (maybe) and olive oil. We didn’t ask what olive oil dressing was we just asked for Italian! We did complain to the owner’s son who did make us New Margaritas but did not address the issue of his servers as he was to busy on his phone! Heard several people complain! So depending on what day you go there will depend on the service and food you’ll receive!

My family decided to eat dinner here. After a large let down by surf 6 the day before. Well let me tell you this place made the rest of our trip that much better. There were 6 of us. Everything was wonderful. The lobster roll was very big for the $15 price tag, we’ll worth it. Twin lobsters for & 20. And my non seafood daughter got a really nice chicken plate. Very nice experience. This will be our our map for every trip.

We wandered in midweek at the end of the season. Friendly greeting, pleasant vibe & attentive service, but our meal was just 50-50. The baked seafood dish was quite good & prepared well but the pasta dish – lobster vodka special – left a LOT to be desired. Probably not a do-over for us, unless nothing else was avail, but you might be surprised if you moderate your expectations & aren’t exceedingly fussy.

Tiny portions for the price. I made myself a sandwich as soon as we got back to the hotel, as I was still very hungry after an appetizer and fisherman’s platter. Some of the seafood was really good, some was not. Kids mac and cheese is Kraft from the box. Service was good.

Best place we’ve eaten in old orchard beach on our 5 day trip. Family of 4, 2 of us had lobster and 2 of us had bacon cheeseburgers. Lobster was a bit tough but good. The waitress was super nice gave us printed instructions on how to eat a lobster. I had cheesecake with fresh fruit. Oh my gosh so good and I’m picky. Will definitely eat here again!!

Really liked the staff/owner, it was late, and they were closing the kitchen but they fed us anyway. (Thank you!!) We had the stuffed mushrooms and they were wonderful. We shared a hamburger and it was really super good. Tasty stuff.

Without a doubt the absolute WORST dining experience I’ve ever had. Horrible drinks (sent them all back), terrible overpriced food. Was told the filet mignon was an inch thick. Two in our party ordered it and requested medium-well, not butterflied. They each got a thin, overcooked hockey puck (4-5 ounces at best) Because they were asked to not butterfly the steak, they cut one steak in half and served it to two people. Fish and chips was battered pieces of frozen fish – not even a filet. Server did not know the menu – could not tell us what an ingredient was in one of the specials. To top that off they charged $27.95 for the steaks when they were priced at $25.95 on the menu. we should have trusted our instincts and left when we saw the ripped, hanging front door screen, the uneven tables with wrinkly tablecloths, and the overall condition of the place. Avoid this place like the plague!

Greeted warmly and sat immediately. Toast was burning. Toast prepared by wait staff rather than in the kitchen which seemed to overwhelm them. Seemed to take a long time to get our food. Veggie omelet good, but not worth the $14 they charge.

Beyond a doubt, the worse restaurant I’ve ever been to. 4star restaurant prices with minus 4 food and hospitality. Want a nice filet mignon? Go elsewhere! 1/2 inch at best and medium well was like sawdust! Fish and chips were frozen fish nuggets with a few nasty fries! The waitress was clueless. She asked me how I liked my bloddy Mary….spicy or more on the mild side….turns out the mix was already made with WAY too much pepper! I couldn’t stop choking! Shabby decor inside and out.

Great service. Convenient location close to but not on the busy pier. Clean, comfortable atmosphere. Menu was a good selection, not overwhelming, still plenty of choices. Had the lobster benedict which was delicious. Kids plates had generous, but not ridiculous portions. Would totally come again.
