I just got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a glass of wine. I was a little disappointed with the pizza, but I’m very picky about pizza. I felt it was too thick and the crust was not very inspired. Basically, it was an average pizza by San Diego standards, but it was okay. However, I probably wouldn’t go back for pizza, but I might return for some other menu items, many of which looked quite appealing.

Hostess was dressed in PJ bottoms on a Friday night. Ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. Could only find two little pieces of meat. It ‘looked’ like meat due to the abundance of onions and tomatoes in it. Waitress brought me a meatball, that was flavorless and was bread based (I know that because I made meatballs with to much breadcrumbs, once) wouldn’t recommend it.

So disappointed. First time here. Almost empty but food took so long. The Salads were soggy. Ranch dressing tasted like vinegar. Neitger of us could finish it. The Chicken Parmigiano was not great for sure. That was the only entree we ordered but long wait. The bread wasn’t even garlic bread and came with tiny butter cups.

I really like the location and the restaurant was empty, but that didn’t last long. The calamari strips were different, but in a good way. The calamari was thick and flat, no tentacles (which are my favorite)… But I enjoyed it. The bread was great also. The Ceasar salad was well over dressed and had the obvious taste of a jar… It was satisfactory because I’ve had much worse. The lasagna was good and had a nice flavor, but I wondered if I had been frozen. As for the restaurant, it is desperate need of a renovation… The table cloths are so ugly and the artificial plants have layers of dust, which if you’re at a booth they’re immediately next to you.
