I’m so happy we had some time to make this stop. This will be a new stopping point in the future. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Food was hot and fresh and delicious. The large salad is big enough to feed an entire family! Happy we have some to take home! The chicken bacon ranch wrap is what I got and it’s now a new favorite! The cook was super friendly and took time to visit a minute and welcome us. We sat out on the patio and had such a beautiful and peaceful lunch!! Can’t wait to go back again!

We stopped here heading home from a camping trip in Central Oregon. It is a very nice place that isn’t very busy. It was a very laid back place in a mountain setting, but nice and clean. It was good to stop before hitting the much busier area past Detroit Lake when you want a warm meal heading home. We sat outside by the river, it was a perfect place to sit and enjoy a meal. We had fried zucchini (I would have been satisfied at that, because it was so good) and a 12 inch pizza that was made just the way I like my pizza, thin crust, cheesy and perfect amount of toppings. This place is a gem! Looking forward to stopping again when I cross the mountains!

Fantastic place to stop right on the road. Has a beautiful creek-side dining area. I’ve been there twice and had the burger with side salad both times. Big portions, perfect after a day of hiking.

Such a wonderful oasis! Amazingly peaceful setting right on the Santiam River! Casual, family atmosphere with very fair prices (dont know how – it must cost a fortune to get food deliveries there.) Great burgers, sandwiches and fries, very friendly and attentive service, and the serene setting. SUPPORT this small business – it’s so nice to have a great little restaurant in the middle of the pass

Donatellos is one of the very few places to eat where we live. We get so excited when they open since it’s seasonal. The Burgers are amazing. Pizza fresh toppings and everything is in larger portions than you would get anywhere else. I know the staff drive a long way since the restaurant is basically in the middle of no where but no matter what they are always super friendly and you can tell they work really hard. If you’re thinking of stopping here do it! Support the local business and definitely sit out back, it’s beautiful and you will probably see a humming bird or two 🙂

I love this place. Discovered it by accident, travelling south on the highway, it was past lunch time, and we were hungry. Stopped in on a Monday. Food was awesome, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I had a Chicken Wrap from the new grill menu. SOO GOOD! But the Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade was beyond good. Amazing. I enjoyed this place so much, that I made it a point to return 4 days later on our way back through. This time, in addition to some appetizers, I made sure to order a LARGE strawberry watermelon lemonade–to go!

Food was great, staff was friendly and attentive, as well as pretty quick. Great spot on the way to Black Butte/Bend-Redmond to grab a quick bite with lots of options. Right on the river with hummingbirds at your table :).
