I love this place. The service was excellent. The food was good. Only thing I didn’t like was the price. I get college food is supposed to be expensive but their cheapest meal was $7 but if you have the funds for it, this is a great place to eat

I’ve eaten here several times because it was open late and on campus. Every time it’s been slow, VERY SLOW. The staff forgets that you exist before you even order. Even on a slow night, ordering one item, you will be here a minimum of an hour (fastest I’ve gotten out). I’ve even brought people here for the experience of poor management and service.

The worst diner i have ever been to by far. Makes me extremely ashamed to give them even the slightest bit of hope when i get there. Their servers and staff are absolutely horrible and rude beside the select 2 people. The service itself is so slow and takes up to 2 hours to receive food that you want to take out. DEFINITELY needs improvement and while new management because whatever system they’re using now is BARELY working. Disgusted that this is apart of my school, DO BETTER !!

Overpriced for mediocre food. The service was bad as well and really rude. The host isn’t attentive to the entrance and I literally had to get his attention. The buttermilk pancakes were dry and had no type of flavor. The scrambled eggs were underseasoned and were broken up like small grains of rice. The only good things were the free water, coffee, bacon, sausage, and fries. Definitely wouldn’t come here again.

Don’t understand the bad reviews??? My son is a student at Montclair State and we always go there when we visit him. Friendly and courteous staff, delicious food served hot and fast, one of the best diners I’ve eaten in anywhere. Plus they treat the students very well, have weekly specials and provide a very nice environment for them to get away to and relax or get some work done.

As a college student, this place is great. Almost always open during the school year and decent prices! I’ve never had an issue with food and the servers are always great. Highly recommend especially if you live on campus.

It’s hit and miss at this place. Sometimes you can get really good food and other times you’ll get a milkshake with spoiled milk. The service there is rarely good and one time I had to shout my order from across the restaurant. Even had some sexist remarks thrown at my friends, but if you can bypass all that and the fact that if there’s more than 15 people at the restaurant they go into panic mode, it’s an ok place to eat especially since there’s not many other options on the campus.
