OMG. This group wanted good country cooking and we found it here. We enjoyed everything we ate! Pork, fried chicken, baked chicken, chicken and dumplings, dressing and gravy, lima beans, corn, cabbage, stewed okra, tossed salad, mac ‘n cheese, and hot biscuits. I had two helpings of the dumplings and biscuits. Yum! The staff was super friendly and we look forward to dining here again.

First off, the staff here is one of the most hospital group I’ve ever come across. The food was delicious as well. Highlights were the fried pork chops and butter beans. The bbq sauce is so good. 5/5 would everyday.

The operators of this family run restaurant practice real, traditional Southern Hospitality with genuine traditional Southern Cuisine or fixings as we used to say in these parts. Myself, now a southern California transplant really enjoyed a tremendously delicious experience on my visit. If you like your food in the true experience of genuine Southern Hospitality and Value, this is the place you’ll want to be. Thank you to all the staff, Heather and Mrs Usher for a memorable meal and conversation. God willing, I will be back if I get anywhere near this establishment that is carrying on a fabulously local tradition of mouth watering real, delicious, local home style country fixins.

Food was awful, no seasonings, manager refunded my money , she was very defensive of their business, said she hadn’t heard anyone else complain. But others were complaining, one worker said they had received many complaints, and worker said the dressings was out of a box, but manager said it was homemade. Homemade right out of a box, I had rather had a Hardee’s 5.00 box. No big variety on buffet.

Under new management. Buffet style. Not alot of choice. No flavor. Would not recommend. Food was not good! Let floor manager know how bad the food was and she got upset. I have since talked with friends that have been there and they were upset about food also. Manager told us food was homemade and have found out it is not.
