Waited about 10 minutes to get our food but it was worth the wait. Freshly cooked and delicious. Fish was nice portions and so soft and flaky. Shrimp were good sized and fried perfectly. I’m picky about coleslaw and theirs is really good. Fries were even really good. First time customer but I have a feeling it won’t be my last.

I was in the area and saw Hooks was highly rated. So, out of curiosity, I stopped and got the 10 piece shrimp dinner. It was very good. It was cooked perfectly and not dried out. The fries were the typical type. Good portions. Hope they stay there.

Took 8 minutes to take my order when there was no other customer. I ordered 2 daily specials for $7.99 each I wasn’t offered or given my receipt. I only received one and had to go back in line for the second one. I was told I was only charged for 1 then paid again for the other( again wasn’t offered or given a receipt). The whole ordeal took 30min since I arrived. At home I checked my bank account to find out I was charged $20.44 for each. I also didn’t get any chicken that comes with the special.

If they answered their phone more so that you could actually order before you got there, they would have had 5 stars. This place is pretty cool and the workers are sweet and polite. They also remember you, and that’s always dope. They know how I like my fries for cry. Sake can’t get any better.

Only negative: Hard to sit outside with seafood dinners, when no strong breeze due to flies. Food was good and came as ordered. Favorite thing this visit were the fried oysters, clean and cooked to perfection. A LOT of food for the money! Can’t wait to try other things!

This place.. is a little pricey but it’s worth it. The fried Perch plate was the best fish I’ve had in awhile. The coleslaw.. the only complaint I have is there was not enough slaw. The rest was a really good portion. Then I got a side of fried okra.. omg… I’ll definitely be going back really soons. Really impressive.

Terrible food. Overpriced. Bread is a piece of loaf bread, what a joke. Nothing is fresh, all frozen breaded junk. Fries are cook in same frying oil that fish is fried in. Stay away. Everything is passed thru a window. A waste of hard earned dollars.
