Confusing pickup process. If you walk in and say “I have a pickup” they’ll say “you need to go to the register”. If you start by walking to the register they will start almost yelling “are you here for a pickup” before you can get to where you think they want you from the last guys telling you that you needed to be at the register. Seriously, put a pickup sign up instead of trying to make the customer feel stupid!

Pretty pathetic. They do not let emotional support dogs inside and they wait until after we pay to tell us. My fiancé had to wait outside. We just would have went somewhere else to get food rather than settling for this mediocre service from people who clearly hate their jobs. Afternoon crew on march 26th at zumbhel location.

I’m so sad to have to give this location 1 star but when I got home from picking up my online order(and standing in the store waiting on my “fresh cut fries” to be done) I dumped my small fries onto a plate to share with my mom, and there was maybe TWO actual fries, the rest was the small bits and crunchy pieces like at the bottom of a fry basket. There was literally NO fries bigger than 3/4 an inch long. What was I waiting for? These weren’t fresh fries these were fresh bits and ends. I’m throughly disappointed because I usually have good experiences here. There was also a small 2 to 3 inch long black hair wrapped up into the sandwich wrapper of one of the 3 sandwiches I bought, it wasn’t touching the food but it had me inspecting every inch of the other 2 sandwiches too. What a bummer to spend $19 on some sandwiches and a small fry and have issues like this. Zumbhel location usually is good, but I don’t know if I’ll come back to this one anymore and I frequent Penn stations often.

I’ve been eating at this location for years. Twice in the last week. I’ve had junk orders. I get a dagwood with all the meats, all the cheeses, lettuce, onion, pickle, tomato, mustard. If be ok I’ve I paid 4 bucks not 8.

Girl at the front who is ringing people up….I saw her two times rub her eyes with two fingers. The first time, I thought it could have been a fluke. But she did it again within a minute or two. She was not wearing gloves and she could be transferring diseases to anyone who eats there. She did not make my sandwiches, but she was making them for the carry out folks. I was disgusted and this was my first and probably my last time here. I hope they get a hold of me, because I vividly remember her, and what she looked like and would be glad to have a discussion with someone about her and her lack of professionalism and cleanliness.

I hope the owner sees this.. Your night shift employees are closing down early and telling customers their system is down right around 9:15, at times. It’s upsetting. The restaurant is closed today 9:34 pm on a Friday, and they don’t even look at you while you’re reading the times on the front door. They know they’re not supposed to be closed. It’s not exactly all employees, it’s mainly the two African American females that have a short tempered, and unkind attitude. Each time they are working, it’s always that pattern. I will try to follow up with names. I spend on an average of $19 on my own, and $34 with my wife. I don’t see why the owner does not follow up with their employees behavior. If it continues, I will have to stop completely purchasing food at this location and spend my money elsewhere, which I will surely miss, because I live in St Charles and love this place. I’m doing it for the owner of this current location, because It’s locally owned. Even if it’s a franchise, a local person owns it, and I’m trying to show support to their business. I would add that during the day, it’s a very excellent place. It’s the little things that make a huge impact. Hence the rating!

Friendly staff. I suggest you try honey mustard on the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It sounds weird but it’s great. I would have given all 5 stars but one of the employees was mopping the floor and there was a strong bleach smell while we ate. I’m glad they keep the restaurant clean though.

If I could rate no stars I would . I haven’t been to Penn station in a very long time and because of the girl here at about 8 pm I will not be back . Not only her the whole staff was more concerned with their own side conversations which included cursing while my young child was with me . She got my husband’s order but completely neglected to ring mine up so after waiting for 15 minutes for our order we had to then order my food again . She got an attitude so we asked for our Receipts and ordered new food . She starts slamming things around and clicking her long fake nails every station she went went . She asked if we wanted ketchup we said yes please and she proceeded to have an attitude and not give us any so we had to ask another employee for some . They were all talking about how they didn’t want to be there and that they were over it which doesn’t make me confident my food will be prepared correctly. This will definitely be my last time at any Penn station .
