I’m a sucker for traditional hot fudge sundaes and Friendly’s is the best. Sorry to see so many Friendly’s outlets disappearing, but the Shillington PA Friendly’s is a good one. Maybe if someone overhauled the chain, updated the grease-laden entrees with healthy fresh food so that everyone could splurge on the sundaes with less guilt…

This was the first Friendly’s we visited in 2003 when we moved back north from Atlanta. It was a warm and friendly place back then and it’s still warm and friendly. Our server, Diane, was excellent when we visited recently. The food was exactly what I wanted. The broccoli was hot! I don’t often review chain restaurants, but this location deserves a kind word or two.

It was very nice to see that Friendly’s was still around as most have closed on New York State. It was Independence Day, other places were shut, and this was open. Friend and I had a Turkey Club, I had Diet Coke he had Coca Cola. Everything was good, server was very nice and Friendly.

The food was great! The staff was very nice. They accidentally gave us the wrong ice cream and fixed the issue right away with no problem. The atmosphere is very dinner like.
