Renovated front of building looks great. The inside is very nice and seems to seat more people. We were present 3 days after the Grand Opening and the food was delicious. The BBQ was very good, if you like a dry pulled pork, this is not quite that. It does have a little sauce on it and the sauce has a kick which is very nice. The pileau (Chicken Bog) was delicious. And my favorite, the pickled okra! Make sure yall give them a try, you will not be disappointed. Best thing they are opened from 11am to 8pm.

Everyone there is so nice. The best thing there is the sweet tea. Everything I had was pretty good. I’ve had better. I guess I had high expectations considering they are in the old Prossers building. I’m not sure why but all the food I got off the buffet was warm nothing was hot . The 4 is mainly off the friendliness of the staff.

The people are very nice. The food not so nice. Pork barbecue was bad. The chicken much better (good). Veggies were just so-so. Mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Peach cobbler was very good. The pork barbecue was the worst I’ve had anywhere. Mostly because of the pork in the barbecue. Terrible. We can easily find better. We ate there on Saturday, maybe it was a bad day, or not.

Great food. I have eat the school house bbq in Scranton many times. And they bring the same quality to this location

One of the worst buffets I have ever been to. Food temperature was between warm and cold. Most of the meats including ribs, chicken and pork chops were dry and tough. The barbecue ribs were drenched in barbecue sauce to try to hide the dryness. The fried shrimp was very tough and overcooked. salad bar was good. The fried oysters had just come out and we’re very good. Dessert that included banana pudding and pineapple upside down cake with ice cream was standard for a Buffet. Unless they improve I do not recommend. I am a local to Murrells Inlet.

Oh my goodness! What can I say about this restaurant except they have excellent food for a phenomenal price! The bbq is awesome, and everything else that was like a southern kitchens smorgasbord! I totally recommend the crab cakes there! My fave! Can’t wait to go back when I have a bigger appetite!

Nice buffet, food was good. We all enjoyed Mac and cheese, hush puppies, bacon wrapped meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy. There was also collard greens, chicken, fish, macaroni and potato salad, desserts- peach cobbler, banana pudding, cookies and cream pudding, cakes. My niece loved the chocolate cake. Our server was very friendly along with other restaurant employees.

Food was just okay. Fried chicken was dry, and cold. Not a large variety of vegetables. No beef bbq, service was good, but for $16.50, it isn’t worth the price. There is another place down the street, that is 100 times better!! This other place charges $11.95 for dinner buffet, $8.95 for early meals. Not impressed.
