I had the lasagna and it was absolutely delicious. It was favorably spiced, meaning it wasn’t hot, just very tasty. We didn’t have reservations, so we had a 10 minute at the bar. Their kitchen is in open view of the bar and you could see that their operation was very very clean. The pizzas looked and smelled delicious. They also have gluten free options as well.

The salads were beautiful and tasty. Atmosphere was pleasant except for the 60s “burger joint” music. Definitely did not fit with the cloth napkins and tablecloths. Lasagna had a Mexican taste and was topped with tortilla chips. Perhaps the menu needs some revamping? Pizza looked good and almost all patrons were ordering it. Wish we had done so. Way over-priced for the quality and taste of food.

They were ready for us immediately at our reserved time. Prompt, friendly, competent service. Food came out promptly, and was so good, not a morsel remained in sight. Pizza was excellent, salads were interesting and flavorful. Would recommend to anyone in the Bigfork area. Good selection of wines, too.

Food is delicious. Service marginal. Would not add 2 people to our reservation. Bread came after asking twice, and came after entree. Charged 3 dollars to split a salad. Took over 1 hr 45 minutes for dinner.

Started with a side Caesar Salad that had the right amount of dressing and cheese and was great. Then ordered the Lasagna which came in it’s own individual lasagna dish so the edge was crispy and boiling…the way I like it.

Terrible experience. We tried to take a group of our senior residents there for dinner and they were very rude and not wanting to accommodate us at all. They open at 5 but our bus got there at 4:30 and when we asked if our residents could just sit inside and not order (rather than sitting on the bus), they said “no” in a hateful way. They also asked if we would be done by 7 as they had another group coming in at 7. We ended up leaving and taking our residents to Scottabellis and had a wonderful time!! If you can’t treat seniors right, I have no place for you in my restaurant options….ever!!!

The original owners of When in Rome made this a fantastic place. It’s hard to emulate exactly what it used to be like because their personalities were interwoven into the restaurant itself. while I think the food probably much remains pretty much the same to be honest I kind of miss the flare and European feel that were brought to the restaurant with Engel and Kaleigh. All the best to the new owners it’s still really good food.

Beware of specific table assignments. I couldn’t tell you anything about the food. We walked in asked to sit at a different table than the one we were being placed at and were refused. Only 2 of there 12 tables were occupied so there were plenty of open tables. We inquired as to the reasoning why we couldn’t sit where we wished and was just told that it’s how they do things. Since when are restaurants not flexible to make the customer happy? We left and will never go back.

Just ate here for Valentine’s Day dinner. Every course was amazing! I’m hoping the prosciutto and mozzarella appetizer finds its way on to the regular menu. Will definitely be coming back.
