The food was good, so was the service. The wait was a little long though.

First timer. It was good I just can’t remember what I ordered. I did manage to take a pic. It has shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, and crab. I also got an aqua Fresca de lemon y pepino which was delicious

They don’t play here. Tacos were the best. Shrimp cocktail killed it. Everything was good.

The pupusas and guerro roll never disappoint! They even asked if I wanted the sushi deep fried or not. They always have music playing too. Love the atmosphere!

The former owners of the La Tortilla (Belmont & Maple) have taken over ownership & management of this restaurant. La Tortilla was quite popular & often had long lines. Maria comes from a family of pupusa restaurant owners and uses traditional Salvadorean recipes. All the tortillas, flour & corn, are handmade. They will be open at 8 am Fri-Sun for breakfast. 9 am the other days. They close at 10 pm during the week, 12 midnight on weekends. They are closed Tuesdays. The menu includes pupusas along with Birria Jalisco style, beef and goat. They have a complete menu of traditional Mexican items such as tacos, burritos, chile relleno, etc. In a cultural twist, they also have sushi Sinaloa style.

STAY AWAY! They don’t pay their workers, they owe all their workers checks since October, the owners spend all the money and don’t pay the servers or their cooks, don’t support this establishment as it exploits hard working men and woman!

Best place for Mexican sushi egg rolls and papusas. My husband likes it to. We come here often. Really enjoy Friday nights karaoke and music.
