This little hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere has the best tasting chicken ! I had the spicy one but they also have the mild one. It is freshly cooked and the sides are awesome. The mac n cheese, baked beans, green beans, potato salad, etc. are my favorites. Service is A++.

What a hidden gem. I probably wouldn’t have stopped here unless my friend made us stop here. This is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. The chef cooks the half chicken in a cast iron skillet to perfection and then adds the bbq sauce. The chicken was moist and flavorful. We asked for medium spice, and there was great heat. The spicy coleslaw and green beans were a great side. The ice tea was great as well. We came towards the end of the lunch hour and received our food right away. The decor is simple but this restaurant is super clean. You can eat in the dining room or get your order to go. It’s definitely worth the trip!!

The staff was very sweet and had great recommendations for sides. Got there right at 11 and we had food within 5 minutes of ordering. Sides were really good (homemade mac n cheese/potato salad) and chicken was amazing. Glad we live less than 30 minutes away. Worth the drive. Next time I’ll do the half chicken for sure. ‘Taint fancy, but I wasn’t there for the decorations.

I really like the chicken here. I like their string beans and macaroni and cheese too. Yummy!! If you get this plate try the 1/2 chicken. On second thought get 2 plates. I think I like there slaw and bake beans also ( I really do not remember) Last time I went I got macaroni and cheese and green beans. I did not want to share. They do have a place for you to sit outside and eat if you would like. Enjoy! If I get close. I am going back. Maybe I will see you there. 2 weeks later…. I am back.. Remember, they are closed between 2pm and 5pm. So plan your trip accordingly. Remember you can call in your order. They do have a picnic table.
