Wonderful experience! It’s a small restaurant downtown Marshall. The facility was clean, staff was friendly and the good was prepared fast and at a very fair price. You have to go up and order your own food and get your own drink. The shredded chicken tacos were delicious. They also have a self serve salsa bar, with 10 different choices, something for everyone! Overall, I loved it. I will certainly be back after trying the other places in the area. Thank you for a great lunch!

First impressions are always a great one. And they made a great one! It’s more of a modern type restaurant, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. If you order a side of chips to start they have an excellent salsa bar with a vast array of salsa. I ordered the tres fish tacos, I was not disappointed. The food came fast and was hot and delicious! 5 stars.

Let me start by saying that our family was excited to try this new restaurant in town. I usually don’t like to give a negative review. Especially to local places. I honestly wish I could give negative stars on this one though. We ordered a large family order. It totaled $127 with tip. First off, most of the food melted through the Styrofoam containers, leaving a mess of grease and some sort of Chipotle paste. Second, the order was incorrect. This included extra extra lettuce on one of the meals that was supposed to have no lettuce. The food was horrible. It was lacking any sort of flavor, other than a thick, flavorless yet spicy Chipotle type of paste that is referred to as the red sauce. The rice is just a flavorless white rice. The refried beans tated like generic canned refried beans. Even the cheese cake chimichangas were flavorless. It did not taste like cheesecake but like a flavorless, floury substance. Our family was very disappointed with this food. We were more upset to throw away over $100 of food because it was inedible. Hopefully, we just caught this restaurant on a bad night and other patrons don’t have such a negative experience.

Torti Taco is a great spot to grab a bite! We went for a work dinner with quite a large group & though they don’t do reservations, the owner was polite enough to reserve an area off for us so we could ensure we all got a seat. Very professional & polite crew to work with & the food was outstanding as well! Everything cooked to order & tasted amazing. We will be back & recommend to everyone! Thanks again Torti & crew !

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the Vegan tacos (Impossible burger, Cactus and Veggie w/avocado) and guacamole at Torti Taco. Very, very good. We also love the salsa bar. We had enjoyed their offerings in Battle Creek and are thrilled to have them here in town. Everything was fresh, the service was as friendly, as it was efficient. Definitely the BEST Mexican restaurant in Marshall!!!!

First time ever going in and when I placed my order the young man asked if I wanted the lettuce, etc on my taco. I said yes. Surprised with a $.25 upcharge for “everything” on my taco. No where on the menu, wall or even from his mouth was this mentioned, nor does it show anywhere what is actually included and what is not. Sure its only a quarter, and every 4 people it’s a dollar. Just put a bad taste in my mouth and I will not return somewhere with shady business practices

My mom and I have been to Torti Taco in Battle Creek and were very excited when we saw it was coming to Marshall. I got a chicken fajita burrito. The thing was MASSIVE and it tasted amazing. Definitely worth every penny! Their salsa bar is unmatched
