Breakfast was very good. I had the breakfast special (2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of bacon, home fries, 2 pancakes and biscuit/gravy). Wife had chicken and waffles with strawberry, chicken was moist and flavorful.

This was a first visit for us. The food was amazing! I had the country style steak that was yummy! The hushpuppies was crisp and not too greasy. We would come back again! Our waitress Mary was amazing!! She made sure we were never without our drinks and came back multiple times after our food was given to make sure we were okay.

I was strolling on DoorDash one Saturday morning for breakfast and ran across Oakcrest. The menu has a ton of options and I was super excited to see a No Pork Breakfast meal option – both the turkey sausage and Turkey bacon were delicious and so were the pancakes! Eggs, grits, and Belgian waffle were decent. I was not a fan of the home fries. Prices were fair for the amount food you get. I more than likely would not order breakfast again, but I could see myself actually visiting the restaurant in-person to try out some other menu items for lunch or dinner.

We ordered chicken and dumplings today for the 1st time in a while, and they were not at all like I remembered them from past experiences with this restaurant. The consistency and color was exactly like breakfast milk gravy. There were no identifiable dumplings or chicken. It was like it had been put in a blender and pureed. I would have given zero stars if that was an option.

Had tried this place for lunch one time before unimpressed however someone had recommended their breakfast. Again very unimpressed. The waitress never came back to check to see if the food was okay. Biscuit was dry and hard as a rock, bacon was almost pure fat, and eggs were been cooked in oil a disgusting oil. Got to the check out and she never asked how it was either..Would not recommend this place. Will not go back.
