Blufish was amazing. I ordered the filet to share with my husband and he said he didn’t expect me to eat as much as I did. Luckily it was huge. My husband and children ordered rolls and the said they were delicious. The hostess was very polite and our waiter was very nice and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant and food presentation was also very enjoyable!

I recently visited Blue Fish 700 N Milwaukee Ave Suite 128, Vernon Hills, IL 60061 and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and our server was attentive and quick to check on us throughout the meal. We ordered the boat for two, and the portions were so generous that we were able to take some food home with us.

Yum. My friend and I ate here for lunch. They have a large menu of Japanese and American dishes. She ordered the Chilean sea bass and sushi recommended by our super helpful server, and I got the half order of Shrimp and shrimp fried rice. All of it was delicious. Our server was fabulous. I had a lot of leftovers. Both of us agreed we would eat here again.

This is probably the quintessential Sushi/Japanese restaurant that you’re looking for. Portions are leaning towards a slightly overwhelming from a whelmed end but what you see is what you get. Entrees received complimentary miso soup and salad, and service was amazing.

We had an excellent experience. Mary was fantastic. We had stuffed mushrooms, Karaage and gyoza (appetizers). Stuffed mushrooms were excellent, very good presentation and portions. For the main course we ordered veg sushi and bibimbap with beef. Food was served quickly, hot and fresh.

One of my favorite sushi places in Illinois. I love this place, elegant atmosphere, great food and service. I suggest you order the blue martini and make sure to ask for black rice on your sushi rolls. The one item you must order is the house salad, the ginger dressing is devine!

I come to this restaurant for lunch pretty often. The only reason I give four stars is the consistency of fish quality. They used to offer very high quantity tuna and yellowtail. Nowadays, I find much fat in tuna and dryness in yellowtail. But still offer better quality fish than any other Japanese restaurant within 3 miles radius.
