The food was nothing to write home about and it took a long time for it to come out. Frantically went a few hours before a football game so trying to give some grace. The service forgot our silverware and rarely checked on us. I’d say it’s worth it in a pinch. At least the beer is cold and the pretzels were halfway decent. But also benefits from its location near both stadiums.

My dining guest and I had such high hopes for this spot. We were seated promptly but it took a while to place a drink order. My melon cocktail was supposed to have vodka, but most certainly did not. We then placed our order of calamari and two stone steak dishes. The calamari breading was not burnt but the calamari was rubbery and dehydrated. The steaks came out promptly and they were great BUT nothing had salt! The steak was unseasoned and the chimichurri was mostly oil (and no salt). Towards the end of the meal I was able to flag down a waitress and get some salt. It made a world of difference. For the cost of the meal I was absolutely let down. This was also a night where no events or games were going on, and it was not busy by any means. I honestly could not recommend this to my friends.

What a place! Great food and great atmosphere. You’ve got to try steak or salmon on a hot stone. I think we had our food brought to our table almost within 5 minutes of ordering it. I was amazed how fast it was. And how delicious the food is. I’ll be going here again, and bringing more people with me next time.

We loved the food my husband had a burger and I had a chicken Caesar salad! We saw the steak on a stone and we will be back to try that experience! Our mixed drinks were perfect. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great and always asked us if we needed another drink or anything. She was busy and still gave us amazing service. The atmosphere and decor was amazing. The bathrooms were super clean and smelled good and I am picky about restrooms. I am so glad we stopped here after an event we went to. Highly Recommend!

Our server Kasie was amazing with our young 10 year old and the food was lovely ! It’s one of those restaurants where you cook the steak on a heated stone to your liking which worked well for all. If your coming between 5-8pm i recommend you book a table. Nice find good food amazing server !!!

We come here every so often for the steak on the stone. It’s absolutely phenomenal. I do the steak, shrimp and scallops with all the sauces. The steak comes out basically raw and cooks on the stone to your liking. Great dining experience every time we go!

Had a group event here with around 20 people, delicious food and very attentive serving staff! Appetizers were delicious and had the opportunity to sample a few of them, the ones that stuck out were the Spinach Artichoke dip and Buffalo wings. For an entree I ordered the Cajun Shrimp on the Stone… Wow. Was super flavorful and perfectly cooked. The staff gave great instructions to everyone on how to use the stones and achieve your perfect cook.

The food was good. Appetizers came out after the main course. The waitress had to hunt down a spoon for the creme brulee. Seemed a bit discombobulated.

Had the striploin on a stone. It was terrible – probably the toughest, chewiest steak I’ve had in the past few years. I cooked it to a rare/medium rare so it wasn’t overcooked by any means. It was just a terrible steak. I had a steak at Denny’s a few months back because it was the only place open after midnight; it was much better than this. Also, I’m not a fan of cooking steak on a hot stone. Yeah, it’s hot but not hot enough to produce a good char. Service was fine, though.

I’d give North Shore Tavern more stars if I could. I’m already looking forward to the next time I eat there. We actually tried to make reservations before our show next month, but sadly the Pirates play that day and the post game reservation blackout eliminates our dining window.
