Listen, it’s not the greatest or the best but it’s dollar for dollar one of the best deals still in Portland. Food is definitely worth what you pay, and the service at this location is lovely. Enchilada platter had a nice sauce and was a great portion, fajitas were huge and also an excellent portion. Margarita was advertised for like $6 during happy hour and excellent at that price point. Know what you’re getting – which is good, solid Mexican food at a really great price.

The service is always hit or miss, sometimes they ignore me or are just a little rude. But it’s worth it because the food there is amazing and some of my favourite Mexican food around 23rd. The sweet tequila burrito is delicious and I order it every time. The giant bag of chips is hilarious but appreciated. I always crave this place at least once a month!

Charming restaurant. Very friendly. Casual and relaxed. No table service, but that explains the excellent prices. Great food. Good salsa bar. Some food items are not served quite as warm as would be preferred. Some orders don’t come out of the kitchen exactly as they were ordered, but has not been a problem to have them done over.

Love this place, both the 23rd and Hawthorne locations. Amazing to be able to get a delicious breakfast burrito and a soda for currently $10.25. Really friendly team at both locations, comfortable tables…and chips come with the breakfast burrito as well. Highly recommend the smoky-hot salsa with the chips!

More like 3.5 stars. Generous portions, reasonable prices. While not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, it hits the spot. I liked the amount of fresh toppings on my pescado taco made it was pretty tasty. The shrimp taco was a little overwhelmed by drowning in chipotle mayo. Guacamole and chips were decent.

This is my go-to place for burritos. Great food and I love that they have so many vegan options. The staff is always friendly and the service is amazing. They have a variety of fresh salsa, and they give you chips with your order so you get a lot of food for a very reasonable price.
