By far the best sushi in OC if not all of SoCal. You can spend alot more going to other “high end” sushi spots. The quality of fish at Jizake is on par with the best of the best – same goes for the skill of chefs they are on par with the best of the best.

The space is beautiful and comfy. My Hawaiian roll was pretty good. However, the sashimi combination was way too pricey compared to other Japanese restaurants. The “crunch” on the crunch roll was a bit soggy.

We absolutely love this place!! The atmosphere is so awesome and everyone seems to know everyone. The sushi chefs are very funny and personable if you sit at the bar. I highly recommend getting a reservation though because we didn’t the first time we went there and we had to wait close to an hour. It is very popular!! The rolls were got were the moonlight roll (the one with asparagus) and the viva Mexico ( lobster and cheese and fried). Those are our two favorite specialty rolls! So good!!!!

We ate here a couple of weeks ago, and plan on returning soon. My daughter and I waited for restaurant to open, because my wife was craving sushi. So worth the wait. Fresh, tasty and correctly made. We noticed that they were very busy on a Sunday night, which was a good thing to see. Pricing was very reasonable as well. Best spot, in my opinion, in the local area.
