The choriqueso is amazing here and was our favorite although all the food was yummy! The soup that comes with the Quesobirrias Supreme put this dish over the top! So much flavor. The Volcanos was delicious as well. The portions are very hearty and one entree is enough to feed two easily. I can’t wait to come back and try there tortas!

Tacos Monarca is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Gettysburg. It is fantastic. The food is amazing. They have quite a large selection of dishes to choose from and even serve pizzas and I think sandwiches too. Would highly recommend this place of you’re looking for good Mexican food.

Wonderful food! Don’t let the appearance of the place deceive you! I went in thinking it was going to be mediocre at best but the thought of having tacos lured me in. Boy was I surprised! I had the taco salad and it was so good! My husband and daughter had the quesabrilla and their food was delicious also! We all agreed that we would definitely visit again next time we are here! The staff was very pleasant also! Place was clean.

I’m from San Diego. The food here wasn’t what I would normally find at home, but even though it was different, I enjoyed it. Everything was fresh. The menu reflects the location, I think. The only thing they could do to improve regardless of the menu is to sell Mexican cerveza.

Had the birria tacos. They had the making of a great taco, corn tortilla, onions and cilantro, fresh lime; but the birria was dry and kind of flavorless. Mangonada was very refreshing and french fries were crisp. Good verde sauce. They were out of several menu items, so watch for that.
