AYCE is two people minimum, this isn’t written anywhere, be warned.

This was a pleasant hole in the wall shop, The service was friendly while there, I enjoyed myself. Now while I would say it is not anything to really write home about. They did have plenty of options! The shrimp tempura was relatively limp, and not so crispy as I would like it. And every dish I personally had kind of blended in together. So yeah, I think I could have gotten more bang for my buck at a conveyor belt sushi place. However, it gave me all of the necessities that I craved for with sushi. Overall a decent spot to have a quick bite for lunch I would say if your in the area.

All you can eat sushi. The sushi is pretty good. I like that you can order anything you want from the menu. It’s not a fancy place, so not really a date venue.

First time there and had the sashimi bowl. Presentation was pretty, fish slices were generous and the chef’s selection was perfect. Given all that the price is great and I will be back for this dish again. The Make it Rain roll was also yum. Friendly service too. One thing that would be great but I don’t expect is to have the option for brown rice. The place is countertop seating only, which was fine for the two of us but may be good to know if you have more in your party.

I was excited about getting the food the first time from this place. Drove by so many times. Had to say it was disappointing. Sushi was not tasteful. It had a weird favor, like a cleaning chemical. Too much rice in the rolls that I pulled all rice off and ate the rest. The only thing in my order I liked was the miso soup, and that was the two stars were for.

Went for their all you can eat option at $33 each, unfortunately it requires two people.

Had a good time here. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The AYCE option is a solid deal. They only lose a half star because the sushi was..just good. Nothing fancy, tasted ok, nothing amazing. I really enjoyed my experience as a whole but you shouldn’t come here expecting great sushi. If you like fried rolls and tempura in everything, you’ll be fine. I don’t know if I will come back, mainly bc there are other places that have similar offerings but better flavors. Oh, so 1 negative thing, the tofu and most of the broth in my miso was cold. Not like, cooled down, it was straight up cold. Other than that they did fine with what they have. They keep the 5 stars bc they don’t try and pretend to be fancy, they just make decent sushi. The service was very good.

Super cute quick sushi place. Its more of a bar set up, so if you have a party of 3 you would be in a line rather than a table. Still had a great experience! Loved the Yami Yami mango special! Very reasonably priced for the area!

Do not get the tuna. They have the worse tuna out of any sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. It is so bad. Their salmon is pretty good, but their salmon roe is a bit off. The vast majority of their rolls contain a grotesque amount of mayo, but I also hate mayo, so it is more just disappointing than a straight bad quality.

Best sushi I’ve had in Portland hands down. We’ve ordered it 4-5 times now it’s never disappointed. We got the Veg head, Spinal tap, BBQ Eel, Blossom, Kenji, and Nigiri unagi. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Spinal tap was our favorite! This place rocks
