Food was not bad. That’s all I can complement. We were ignored from the moment we walked in. A waitress walked through my family to get to people who walked in after us and sat them. We just picked a table and sat. There were 3-4 other tables when we got there. The waits in between getting our drinks, have our order taken, and get our food were much too long for comfort. Our table was never checked on through that time. We were hoping to order tortillas before the meal and couldn’t get the waitress to pay attention to our table. Didn’t even bring tortillas with the fajitas. Wanted to order dessert, again couldn’t get anyone to pay attention to our table so we just decided to leave. Went to pay, presumably the owner was cashing us out and was really kind, gave our boys some candy. So I was going to just chalk the bad service to a waitress who was having a bad day, or was new, whatever…… but then I noticed we were over charged. We had 2 kids Sprites and 2 waters, and were charged for 4 drinks. ($2.99 each) When I showed the man who checked us out, he told me he rang what was written on my ticket. I said “yeah, but we didn’t have 4 soft drinks, we had 2.” He pulled out the written ticket and slid it in front of me on the table, pointed to where the waitress who ignored us the whole time had written “4 drinks” and said “What’s that say right there? 4 drinks! I charged you for what the ticket says”. I don’t care what the ticket says we had 2 drinks, go ask the waitress and make the situation right! He however, did NOT make the situation right. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely in a restaurant.

First time going and service was excellent! No booths. Ordered three different meals, so we had a variety to try. Beef enchiladas, tamales, and chille rellano. Really did not care for any of these… or the rice, beans, queso, and salsa. Not much flavor. I’m sure we will try something different another time because I’ve heard good things about the place.

Worst tasting Mexican food I’ve ever had!! Also they rip you off with a setup fee that outrageous! Never again. Lunch cost us $30 for $4 worth of food and ice tea was $6 I don’t see how they are still in business!!

We had lunch at the El Palmo. It’s an 80’s Disco Mexican Restaurant ; Not really. The owner was jamming out to some 80s disco that day. Not what you would expect at a Mexican restaurant, but our crew thourghly enjoyed the change of atmosphere that day. The food was great. Bring an appetite if you go there because the servings were more than enough. Our waitress Kayla waa very courteous and accommodating.
