The Flatbread was burned, like black, and they still sent it to the table.(They replaced it when we complained) The chicken, while a good flavor was a mix of temperatures from warm to ice. The “live music” was a guy blasting non vocal tracks so loud you couldn’t have a conversation, then he would randomly add his own saxophone music to it which was both shrill and pitchy.

Phenomenal place with an exceptional view of the city. We decided to spend our Valentines here and partake in their Valentines day meal pertaining of Chilean Sea bass and Osso Buco. Let’s just say the meal was absolutely delicious and spot on. I had a few Vermont Old fashions and my wife sampled a few different drink specials for the evening. We both left full and planning out return. The only exception to the evening was our less than attentive waiter. We had to go out of our way to get his attention and had to remind him of the wine we were supposed to get as part of out dinners with each course of our meal. Still didn’t tarnish the experience we had and we’ll definitely return.

I went here for my friends celebration of joining the fire department. Very beautiful hotel, I’ve been here plenty of times never to stay though. I have been here for the rooftop many times as well as for events that are hosted here. I’m pretty sure the stay is just as good as everything else they have to offer. The restaurant as well as the bar on the rooftop are amazing. The food is wonderful and they even make it look cute and fancy for your event. The drinks are delicious and they even add real fruit and make them pretty every girl loves cute fruity drinks.

I was really looking forward to enjoying a night with some friends out on the rooftop but ended up really disappointed. We were told that we couldn’t sit out on the rooftop if we weren’t eating. We were there to have drinks. We decided to leave but before we did we walked outside to at least see the view. When we walked out we found that probably 75% of the tables were open but covered in dirty glasses and plates. Also, the people eating at the tables had drinks so they could clearly drink out there. It just makes no sense. Our group would have spent more money on drinks than a table of people just eating without drinks. Anyway, long story short, we left disappointed. That being said, we ended up having a great night but we had that great night at the rooftop bar at the Hotel Goodwin in Beloit. I couldn’t recommend that bar more highly. If you’re looking for a rooftop to relax on with family/friends, skip The Top Rooftop Bar & Lounge at the Embassy Suites and go to the Hotel Goodwin instead. You will be glad you did.

This was our first time. Came to celebrate our son’s graduation. Impressed by Ashley and Leigha took care of all our needs. The food was good. I think that overall flavor was worth the stop. The shareable dishes were very filling and definitely easy to share. Be nice, for the price, if there was a little more of the main part and less filler chips. Like with the tuna nachos, a little more everything else and less chips. Great flavor and atmosphere. Would try again.

I’ve been here twice (well actually once… details to follow) The view is great. Drinks are alright. First time I went, over half of the fire places outside weren’t working but the rooftop was empty so different parties shared the functioning ones to stay warm. Second time I went, we came up to the rooftop after an event downstairs in the hotel only to be told they weren’t taking any more “walk-ins”. We just wanted to stand and drink by the bar but they said no so we left. Mind you the tables inside were 85% vacant but they claimed to be at capacity. Then, 45 mins later another group of my friends walked right in without any issue. They definitely need to work on organization and customer service because my 2nd experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Been here a few times now and will definitely come back for the atmosphere. Service is usually really slow because they only have one server but the servers are generally pretty nice. I highly recommend the spicy Thai drummies. Do not go for the Ahi Tuna Bites. As a sashimi lover I was excited to try them but they had no flavor for what I’m assuming is high grade tuna.

We tried to go to Caribean night. Arrived at 6:30. Were told that if we didn’t have a reservation, we couldn’t be seated. Ok. Ate at the tower bar downstairs. Went back up at 7:45 to hear the steal drum music and were told the restaurant and bar are at capacity. Might I suggest better organization? More information upfront? Such as reservations required? Poor Poor Poor customer service and communication. No thanks.

The atmosphere was lovely but the staff was unorganized. Friendly at least but unorganized. The menu is not that great either. We ended up just getting drinks because there were only finger foods find the menu and they were really expensive. We went downstairs to eat.
