We enjoyed our visit here while visiting CT. Only thing I would change, was to have the music just a little lower so that we could hear what the other person across our table was saying. Not great for conversations over meal, but ideal for a party. Otherwise, love love love the service and the Food.

I’ve had food delivered from Grill2 years ago, drinks with friends also years ago however today I’ve had the pleasure of eating in. I had the seafood rasta pasta. Would I recommend it? Yes. The pasta was cooked perfectly and saucy at the right portion. I can’t wait to go back and try something new.

Randomly stopped here one Friday afternoon around 6:00pm before going to a concert at the arena downtown. I didn’t read the reviews before coming here and I may not have come if I did. We didn’t make a reservation but were seated immediately by a very lovely young lady. First of all, there is a bouncer at the door with a metal detector wand and he pats you down and checks bags. Now I don’t know what has happened at this place before that warranted a bouncer, but it’s an indication of the type of establishment it is. There is a DJ and the music was absolutely fire, but so loud! It’s a sit down restaurant, not a club! My husband sat across from me at a small table and we could barely hear what each other was saying and we had to yell. All of that mess aside, the food and drinks were unbelievably good! We were so hungry and crunched for time that we just scarfed everything down! The drinks were super strong but very good. We actually waited for our meals before we continued drinking, and that took quite a while. I wouldn’t return to this place for dine-in even if I lived in CT. I’m not sure why a service charge is added to the receipt, maybe the DJ? I wonder if the service charge is added for delivery or take out orders? All in all, the food and drinks were amazing but the whole ambiance of the place leaves much to be desired.

Great place for delicious flavorful food! The only issue we had there was the couple next to us blowing their hookah smoke into our face. It’d be nice if they had different sections for if you want to smoke or are only there for the food. Other than that, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

It was very good, it was just opening up when we went so we had to wait some time for the food but it was well work the wait. Appetizer was coconut shrimp (highly recommended) I got rice and peas , jerk chicken and cabbage. My grandmother got shrimp Rasta pasta which she loved and my sister and brother got oxtails with rice and peas everyone said how delicious it was. I got a margarita I forget the name maybe it was an Island Margarita that I give 10 stars.

Dj was awesome..he made my night very special..place was hot temperature wise.. my fish was too wet ,they put too much pickle sauce on it..even though I asked for it to be fried crispy (well done) overall it was a good birthday..
