Great spot for a bite like the soup of the day was white bean fennel which was epic and a flatbread pizza. Outstanding spot to bring out a laptop and get some work in while overlooking mountains. Would return, mostly due to Micah’s attentive service.

Raven’s Perch has a nice ambience and great views of the Knik River and the surrounding mountains especially on the deck. There is also a small bar in the dining room. Service was fairly prompt and food was good especially for the location that is rather remote. For the only restaurant onsite it’s not a bad choice. Salmon was tasty and salad fresh.

Seafood chowder was good. Beet and arugula salad itself was fine but chicken addition very very dry and had sauce on it that didn’t go at all with flavors in salad. Pushed it to side and didn’t eat. Caramel dessert also good.

My husband and I stayed just down the road during our honeymoon trip and figured we’d try this restaurant out. Sevice was just ok, but we both had the loaded mac n cheese and it was really good. Very rich and maybe a little too saucy, but yummy all the same. It was certainly nice to take in the beautiful mountain views while we ate.

5 of us ate dinner together with a good assortment of the menu ordered. I had the steak which was cooked to a very good medium rare as ordered, and the coffee rub was good but not too overpowering. The daily vegetable was asparagus served along side of the mashed potatoes. The only comment made by everyone at the table is that several items were very under seasoned. The mashed potatoes needed salt added terribly, the asparagus was cooked with garlic but lacked any other seasoning. Combined we had 2 steaks, the salmon, scallops, and the Loaded Mac and Cheese. Again the food was very good, but did require seasoning at the table which was kind of disappointing given the type of restaurant and price point of the entrees. The staff was superb and did an amazing job throughout the dinner service. She was very friendly and knew the menu very well. She was able to answer questions and make suggestions when one of our guests was having trouble deciding what to order.

Beautiful property and vista. Restaurant menu solid with popular choices and all-Alaskan in selections – which was refreshing. The homemade fries were particular yum! The wait times and overworked waitress delayed all, but understandable in current work-hire environment. Oh – and music playing a fun folksy hit mix.

I would never say this unless it was justified, but eat before you come here. I ordered a beer and a glass of water and it took fifteen minutes to get it, and was told they were basically almost out of everything except for a few beers on tap. We arrived before the dinner crowd and we had to wait over thirty minutes for our food while we watched people that arrived after us receive their meals and their desserts. Our waitress finally came out and apologized and said that our meal tickets never printed out to the cook so she had to resubmit it. Ok fine. Whatever. When our burgers and fries finally arrived it was very hard to justify paying $18 for what was on my plate (attached photo). We overheard a server telling a very disappointed customer that they were out of cheesecake and the customer said they drove all the way there just for the cheesecake.

Best seafood chowder I had in Alaska ! Nice blend of Korean flavors with seafood as well. If you have the money for the dog sled helicopter tour, the price of the meal is probably not one of your concerns.

Live in the valley. Drove 45 minutes to get there. After seated, sat 20 minutes with servers walking by. Hostess noticed, said they would be right over. 10 minutes more and we left. Never going back and will recommend no one else bother either.

Good clean local food. I was so captivated by the views I forgot to photograph the plates. Vegan dish was good and the Mac cheese was amazing.
