A little gem hidden in Hillsborough, true Italian, best so far in our area, Hillaria made our dinner experience just like in Napole! The pasta was (of course if you really appreciate the true spirit of food and it’s true flavor ) delicious and you can tell it’s not your average pasta, great ambiance for a family or/and friends, bring your favorite wine or beverage it’s a plus yes you need it! Perfect company to the home like (Italy) meals, definitely a repeat. Grazie !!!

Food was so nasty that my daughter’s pasta and ravioli were undercooked and hard. The mushroom risotta tasted like dirt and the eggplant flower appetizers were soaked in grease. Very dissatisfied for my mothers day dinner. Service was ok not the best.

Took my son to dinner here before I began cancer treatments as I wanted it to be special. It did not disappoint. We had great service, amazing food and enjoyed the ambiance.

The food has, unfortunately, gone downhill in the past few years. It is only decent. The servers were moderately attentive. When we tried to pay in part using a coupon purchased 5 years prior, we were told adamantly that it is expired, despite it clearly stating “does not expire”. The worker then changed tack and said he doesn’t know where we bought the coupon and that “it [was] fraud.”

This place is the real deal and not enough people go here. Cafe G has a full Italian menu, the service is amazing, the Sea Bass Lemon Piccata I had was out of this world with lots of fish and perfect sauce. Good place for kids/family. Chicken Parm was solid, Penne with Vodka Sauce – excellent, Lump crab appetizer was excellent, I didn’t love the octopus appetizer (overcooked) but the rest of the meal was perfect. We have this place in our primary Italian food rotation of restaurants.

Two words, Never Again! Service was painfully slow and the food was horrible. The sauce tasted like it came out of a very cheap jar, the veal was impossible to cut and the amount of seafood that was on the pasta was a joke. My dad ate all the bread as his food was a next to nothing and I went home to eat. As I said never again!

Just had a repass meal there, food was ok, service was below any reasonable level. We unfortunately over estimated our number 40 which is fine. We would expect to pay for what they prepared. We had only 23 there were no leftovers to take except a tray of salad 4 pieces of chicken, one piece of veal. A small bowl of pasta and a small bowl of sausage and peppers. So they certainly didn’t cook for 40 and wouldn’t budge on their price. Again I have no issue with paying full price but I would expect to have food for 40. Really would not recommend this place to anyone for this type of need. Also the manager was gruff. When asking to dump some of the sauce from the sausage and peppers he did so grudgingly and the sauce still spilled out, soaked through the box and even the towel I laid down and into my seat cushion.

My husband had been there, prior to me posting. I personally have not been there. He stated it was not that good. I have posted on his behalf.
