This place has the potential to be the best pizza in town. The dough they use is great and the slices have a perfect bend to them when you pick one up. The problem is that every pizza I have gotten from here only has sauce, cheese and toppings across 3/4s of the pizza, the crust is like an inch and half long which is just too much for the size of their large. The cheese is just turning golden brown and bubbling so it’s clear that they have their time and temperate dialed in very well. The sauce is good but it doesn’t seem like it’s made in house which could be a game changer. I would gladly pay more for a little increase in quality and I’ll keep trying it and change my review if the pizza changes.

So I’m a door dasher and was a little early. Was told about 15 minutes which is fine and dandy I had time today. Went back inside to grab the order and the kinda folks working there gave me a free pizza which was the kindest thing since I never have time to eat while dashing. The pizza was a solid 7 out of 10 but it’s a solid steal for the price ya pay and they are a small business so that means even more. Thanks again folks

I called after having to have my order of wings confirmed because the options were not available on the door dash site. The guy at the store said they understood, no problem. Order came wrong ( no sauce at all). When I called to have the order fixed the guy who answered the cal literally said “I don’t care. Not my problem” this occurred at 5:41pm February 2nd.

This place is absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good things about them. Food is off the charts and for the price! Rod and Doug do a great job and care about the customers. They have other workers, sorry don’t know their names and they do an outstanding job as well. I’ve been to the best places in Houston, TX and these guys in Winona still win the battle.

Don’t listen to these negative reviews! $5 Pizza has fantastic pizza! The wait might be long only because of how many people LOVE the pizza and ordered ahead of you! No, they dont pick and choose who’s pizza to make first, its first come first serve, like any normal pizza place. They make everything handmade, and immediately when you order so everything is fresh. It is worth way more than $5, but they serve to the people so the price is affordable for YOU! MUST TRY! You won’t regret it!
