Food is old. Even the rice and peas was nasty. I’ve never had bad Jamaican food in my 34 years of life. We need to call an inspector and shut it down. My patty was the worst. Never again

Great variety of delicious Jamaican Caribbean food. The ladies working there work hard and serve very good food. Great portion sizes for the price. Love the curry chicken, Jerk pork, cabbage, mac & cheese, plantains and spicy Beef Patties also. A must stop over & over.

I finally purchased the Shrimp Patty! At first I was taking back with the price but the two beautiful ladies said “Trust Me”, so I did and I am glad I did because the Golden Krust Shrimp Patty has a little heat and the right amount of spices to bring it all together!

Very Very Disappointed. Typically when you walk into a Golden Crust at Other Locations the food at least looks Fresh. This was my first that I should have left. The display food looked old and dry. Now I’m Jamaican I knowww food is reheated but this looked 2 days plus. Ordered the Brown Stew (which she did go and replenish from back so this looked better then the first batch that was out) Lunch special with Rice and Peas, my first bite I gagged. Usually I don’t take mediocre food back to restaurants especially if I only paid $8 but Sour Food?? No way that’s an insult, they can prob get away with that in this particular area, with the people thinking that’s how it should taste.

First time at this location, and they were extremely rude and mean to me while picking up my to-go order. Nice to everyone else in the restaurant, but me. They were so cold to me, made me feel very unwelcome. On two occasions the lady yelled at me with frustration. In the beginning when I asked about my order, and the end when I asked if it could be put in a plastic bag. Being that I’m the only white person in the restaurant at the time makes me think. Context clues. Terrible treatment, almost did not even want my order anymore. Never again. Next time I’m in a similar situation, I’ll record the interaction to expose it, but there won’t be a next time…. Oh, and the food is mediocre at best, but that was not the deal breaker. Hope those two ladies get fired. There are some miserable and hateful people out there. This is what reviews are for. Get it together.

This Jamaican restaurant has gotten too expensive when compared to the other restaurants. Recently the lunch specials has made a big jump from $6.41 to $8.16. This is too much when compared to other Jamaican restaurants. Also I noticed that over time the food preparation of meals has regressed as it relates to quality. I will surely go to another where the meals are more affordable and tasteful.

For some reason, workers at Jamaican establishments act like they are doing you a favor when you go there to spend your money. Why the attitude? Plus, you don’t even sell krust anymore. If I want a patty, I’m going to Taste Rite.

We had GK delivered and was very satisfied with the food. When ordering through Doordash some if the items were missing in comparison with the GK site itself. Beyond meat patty was delicious! We tried both fish entree and the snapper was definitely superior tho the other fish was good too, a bit dry.

Great Jamaican/ Caribbean food! This place never disappoint. Usually order take out for home, but ended up eating them in the car because they are so good. Oxtails and curry goat are among the best out there. So flavorful, with meat falls of the bones. Make sure to have some room for patties as well. Food are well portioned, and the staff are usually very friendly.
