This is the pinnacle of sandwich shops I found it when I took a trip to Chicago and I’ve been in love ever since. I don’t think I even needed to put Chicago in there I’m from San Antonio I’m not really sure where Jimmy John’s originated from but I’m just gonna put a little story here to entertain people that are reading reviews maybe confuse them maybe bore them who knows hope you have a great day! The number 7 and the number 9 are my favorites 🙂

Asked for a philly cheesesteak sandwich, w bellpeppers and onions. Got “jimmy peppers” which is apparently what Jimmy John’s corporate office calls jalapenos. WTH! Couldn’t just say Sorry no bell peppers, jalapeno instead? Fed to dogs, waste of time and money. Manager was no help.

Arrived at 9:36 pm opened the door walked in and a young lady holding onto a sub bread approaches and says they close at 9:00 pm now. During a time of inflation of gas prices I did not expect or think this fair to have wasted resources to visit this location just because they are procrastinating in changing their business hours. Can’t imagine how many other consumers have experienced this. In my eyes the phenomenal service at my once favorite sandwich spot has been declining. There are so many other sandwich chains that make it hard to decipher but I have been a loyal customer. Also, as a past employee of Jimmy John’s I know this was never their mission (provide bad customer service). A few weeks ago I vistied another Jimmy John’s and waited literally 30 minutes for a cold sub, only 1 other person was ahead of me. They had their backs turned to me and only acknowledged once I was about to leave. They decided online orders were more important than their in house guests. They saw me but acted like I was not there. Even heard one employee saying “take care of those first she can wait” before I decided to depart.I did not complain or write a review then, but I am not liking the service provided by Jimmy’s.

I’m very pleased with My Experience, I panicked when I realized I was going to be over at Jimmy John’s like an hour early & had pre-ordered My Sandwich not to be made until 1:45 pm & The other one I accidentally scheduled for The next afternoon, but I called & told Shane, he told me to come inside & we could fix The Sandwich that I was supposed to pick up The Next Afternoon & put it for today, since I was being silly & calling The Restaurant right outside of The Restaurant in The Heat that is San Antonio, Texas in The Beginning of July During Global Warming, & then he got his crew to jump right on in making My Subs! He was very go with The Flow when I added Chips to My Order at Last Minute too! He also went through his list and asked me if I wanted anything extra on My Sub Ordered on The Spot, knew his products and that The Originals already had The Bread Scooped Out of The Center and let me know for The Future and asked if I wanted it Cut in Half and if I wanted anything else! Even checked in with me to see how I liked The Food! Stellar Customer Service from Shane and his Crew!

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time. Lady had attitude when I told her I had a mobile order and then seconds later she was visibly complaining to another employee. No employee looked like they wanted to be there. Wouldn’t recommend this location unless you don’t plan on interacting with the employees.
