Incredible food! Everything was so fresh and delicious. The best in the black hills and their entrees are a great size. Just make sure you have 1.5-2 hrs to spend here and order appetizers as our waiter stated their entrees can take a while but we love the atmosphere and having a glass of wine. Our waiter was also amazing!

This is the second time I’ve dined here both times the food was very good quite expensive and there’s not a lot of place for sitting so definitely make a reservation but definitely a wonderful choice to make for fine dining!

This place and the associated and attached Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Springs in and of themselves make the trip to Hot Springs worth it. This is great dining with local and seasonal foods artfully prepared and a curated wine list and intimate but welcoming small dining room.

We had the pleasure of dining while in Hot Springs at Buffalo Dreamer. Our host was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He explained each item on the menu when asked. Our appetizer was the cheese tray, excellent! Our main course was presented timely and looked appealing. I had the chicken, which was absolutely perfect. So many flavors that I haven’t had before. This is definitely a 5 Star I highly recommend.

Prepare for an experience that must not be rushed. (it was 2 1/2 hours from reservation to check) we were the last table for dinner, but it was so worth it.

I wanted to join in on singing the praises of Buffalo Dreamer! Wow. We didn’t know what to expect as it is a small place (7 tables?) in Hot Springs (small town!) but what a special find. It is an intimate, high quality TREASURE in the Black Hills. The Cheese plate app, Moscato, Swimming Angel and Steak dinner were the best flavors we’ve ever had. It’s hard to describe, you have to experience it. It is not a fast food diner so make sure to order a lovely drink and an app as each plate is intimately prepared and take some time to perfect. Such an enjoyable experience, nothing like it around!

The place is small and quaint. We spent the afternoon soaking in the hot spring attached to the restaurant and arrived to the restaurant in casual attire, the waiter was friendly, kind, and attentive. We waited for some time for service/food, but I promise the wait is worth it. The food was magnificent. It was well prepared as well as well presented. I have an allergy and could not have the potatoes that were paired with the steak so asked for some extra veggies instead, not only did I get extra vegetables, they served me a different medley entirely on top of what was typically offered. We are excited to visit again!
