This place will always get 5 stars from me. Down home cooking with desert, super affordable, delicious homemade food. People are exceptionally nice and as a trucker they let me park my truck there since I lived 6 minutes away. Every time I go through I stop for food there. If you pass this place up, please turn around and go back. You most definitely will not regret it.

Super quaint cafeteria style lunch with additional made to order options. Food was very yummy. The baked apples are probably the best I’ve ever had. Highly suggest this place and we will be back next time we’re through this way.

A surprising little restaurant. Decided to grab a bite while filling up. Kept it simple as it was lunch for us and had cheeseburgers. They were pretty good. Staff was very friendly. Would stop here again if we’re ever out this way.

We had just wrapped up a camping trip over at Rock Island and decided to stop here on our way out of town, the food was splendid, the prices can’t be beat especially with the inflation on most things nowadays, and the staff was very friendly. If you like wings I highly recommend their Buffalo Wings, they are very crispy and taste amazing. There is also a convenience store attached that sells Dr. Pepper, RC, and more in glass bottles. Needless to say we will definitely be returning here.

Food and service are fantastic EVERY time we eat there. The fish, the chicken strips, burgers, Philly cheese steaks and hamburger steaks off the menu are cooked to order, fresh and delicious along with a wide variety of side options. Their meat and three lunch bar through the week is great, with a wide variety of good old-fashioned home cooked favorites and their Sunday lunch bar is off-the-chain good.
