They lock the doors to the lobby 3 hours before closing for no real reason. They have a buzzer at the door that you can ring. When I asked an employee why they shut down the lobby early, he replied that they are short staffed. I see a lot of families with kids trying to use the play area get turned away. This McDonald’s is the only one nearby with an indoor play place . They are also located next to a busy hotel . Hopefully management can step in to remedy the issue or at least correct lobby hours to stop people from wasting their time .

Absolutely love this location! They have a great play place that my 3 year old just loved. They keep it really clean and close it at specific times for sanitization. In addition to the climbing structure, there is also two computer tables where you can play games on the touch screen. That was even fun for the adults!

I am now going to not complain and instead say that the afternoon manager of the McDonald’s in Sand City;she went above and beyond when it came to a gift card…. shhhh, this same store gifted me for a four day (lunch) RUINED,(lunch), RUINED (lunch), RUINED (dinner) RUINED All while my family from out of town was here visiting. The card somehow of course with my luck got bent, and because the credit card got bent they couldn’t put the credit card number in the at least that is what was said I was of course disappointed and upset because that was how was going to be getting my meal but the afternoon manager somehow got on HER phone and WENT WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND HER DUTY TO MAKE IT TO WHERE I WAS ABLE TO EAT MY MEAL WITH MY HUSBAND MIND YOU WE HAVEN’T HAD MCDONALD’S FOR A COUPLE YEARS SO IT WAS KIND OF A SPECIAL THING. Went through drive thru and was asked to drive and wait for someone to bring me my food. They basically forgot about me. I told a worker I was waiting, and got forgot about again. After an hour I needed one more drink that they forgot to give me and another half hour went by. For them being sorry I was offered free pies, I didn’t think that was enough compensation for and an hour and a half drive thru order mess up.
