Pizza place in a hide out cafe…. We had the Pizza Lab.. overall taste was good but the soy chorizo made the pizza taste salty. The staff (one man army) was very polite and nice.

I’ve meant to write this review for as long as Matt’s been around. It’s humbling in that I’ve learned that he, obviously, knows much, much more about pizza making than I do. Until I got to know his style, I would build my own pizza, add too many vegetables, and wonder why the pizza didn’t seem to work (though we always ate the whole pizza). Because we’re older I started ordering 1/2 the cheese, and never missed the flavor. Over time we trusted his pizza labs. Now I’m sorry I didn’t know to try more of them.Tonight we ordered 4 pizzas for a family work week visit, and I was chewing on the last of this week’s pizza lab as I placed an order for another 2 pizzas for a friend’s this weekend. The thin crust is excellent. We can enjoy another piece without filling up on too much bread. Matt is committed to his craft. Adaptable, friendly, passionate. It’s wonderful to have him in the neighborhood.

Yummy pizza! We usually get a pepperoni for the kiddo and something with the Biquinho sweet peppers for us and it ends up being 2 meals for the 3 of us.

First and foremost the pizza is really good. And we love the idea of the rotating types every week, and so my email every week from the Neighborhood Pizza Guy is waited on with baited breath… what’s the pizza this week? I always love it, and my wife who is a bit more picky, is more selective, and always loves what we get. Highly recommended.

Neighborhood Pizza Guy is a Neighborhood Treasure. This past week, we ordered the “Pizza Lab” (the weekly experiment…fun!). It was tomatoes, aged mozzarella, bacon, garlic-marinated mushrooms. SO GOOD. As are the regular items on the menu.
