Nice to see a Denim coffee in Mechanicsburg. There are a lower selection of syrups than most other coffee shops, but the vanilla was great. We ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with mayo on a chabatta roll. Very good..love the free water “on tap”. Such a novelty!

A great coffee shop here in downtown Mechanicsburg. This is the former Capital Joe’s location. The menu is small but that’s okay for a coffee shop. The food menu is also small but the sandwich was fantastic. Some of the charm is gone with the blue and white paint scheme but still a cool place. I’d recommend some dimmable lights in the dining area to bring back some of the charm. Overall fantastic place the coffee was great, the service and food were also good.

So incredibly glad that Denim Coffee opened a shop in Mechanicsburg! They made the space light, bright and inviting. The staff were friendly, and quick; you truly couldn’t tell it was only their second day open when I was there! Most importantly, the food and coffee were awesome! I got a caramel latte and a ham, egg and cheese, which were both fantastic. Plus I sampled my husband’s chocolate chip cookie which was amazing as well! I can’t wait to go back!

Great food and amazing coffee. Friendly and talented staff. I would only suggest to tone down the atmosphere and gave something going on in the evening. They have a great space in the back to do an open mic night, paint and create class or any number of things they could do to draw more people and stay open later.

Opened on Saturday June 10 2023, Denim Coffee has replaced Capitol Joe’s as the coffee place on W. Main Street in Mechanicsburg. The interior is a lot brighter and less cluttered and the food/snack selection is more comprehensive. The coffee is just as good as their place on Hanover Street in Carlisle which my wife and I frequent on weekends when we’re over there. As a former regular customer of Capitol Joe’s, this is definitely an improvement – Recommended!

Had an excellent iced vanilla latte (not too sweet, didn’t mask the espresso flavor) and breakfast sandwich. Plenty of seating inside and street parking outside. Must climb 2 stairs to enter through the front. Will visit again!
