I was so looking forward to a rainbow sushi roll but got a strange variation with only crab and shrimp, not sure what happened but I ate it anyway since it was a take away order and I was so hungry! It was ok for what it was but it certainly wasn’t a rainbow sushi roll, I would still try them out again since it’s the only place in town for sushi.

Wow what a surprise in Nogales to find such a great selection of sushi. Went to Okiroki after crossing the border from Mexico to try something new. I truly enjoyed this place. Great service and food. There’s a nice little bar inside and an awesome patio. Kind of an awkward entry from the T-Mobile parking lot. I had the rainbow sushi which was fantastic. I will be back.

The atmosphere is a mix between a nightlife like vibe with a chill type feel at the same time. We entered, and the staff immediately greeted us upon arrival. I was unsure whether it was open seating or to await the hostess for seating, so I asked and we were kindly directed to a table. Its open seating, but the staff took the time to walk us over to our desired place of seating and immediately took our order for drinks and appetizers. I ordered the edamame and some beverages. The edamame was very tasty and not too salty, which is my preference. About 5 mins later we received our miso soup, and it was delicious. It was a traditional miso with rice in the soup, which was new to me, but it added a great flavor to the soup. We ordered the Volcan roll and the Extreme tempura roll. Pictures provided. Both rolls very very tasty. The crab topping on the volcan roll was very fresh and also very tasty. The extreme roll was also very tasty, and simple. The flavors were not too complex, simple, yet flavorful at the same time. They bring u a bottle of spicy mayo and I believe, eel sauce, which was a plus for me as I always order spicy mayo on the side. The spicy mayo was also perfect for my taste buds. It’s spicy, but I wasn’t sweating profusely from the heat. Both items I ordered were heavily breaded, which I will admit, I was initially not a fan of, but after I tasted both items, I was pleased with the flavors. I’m used to traditional fresh sushi, but was instantly impressed after tasting both items. . After receiving our food, we didn’t see our waitress for a few while we ate, but to be honest we didnt really need anything. They were as attentive as they could be given the number of people present. No complaints from me. Overall, I rate this place a 4.7 of out 5. The only feedback I have is that the music was too loud loud inside, so u have to yell to converse, but again, this is just a preference of mine, not a critique. We will be returning during our short travels here. It’s definitely a good spot for some good food. I’m a fan.

Ordered online said order would be ready at 9:14pm I got there asked for my order , waitress gave no answer walked away , asked the second waitress and she said she would check. Literally at 9:40 I asked the 3rd waitress what was going she asked my name again and well my order had been sitting in the kitchen. Mind you these 2 waitresses were just standing at the register. They only attended to me because I HAD TO ASK AGAIN!!! then none of the extras were in the bag. I go back in and the waitress has me go to my car get my phone to prove to her that I did order the right things because she was arguing I didn’t order right.. finally the other waitress came over and told her that the computer was changing names on certain items and to give me my items. It took an hour to finally get my food which was cold , sushi got a bit soggy. I’m sorry but if you can’t handle online and phone orders, then don’t take them.

We ordered spicy tuna and nogales sushi. We got two dried out sushi rolls after an hour and a half. We also ordered veggies and rice which was chopped up zucchini and carrots on a bed or white rice with absolutely no sauce. Nothing we ordered had any taste plus it took 2 hours to eat. Not to mention the exhorbitant $63 dollar bill.

Our server was really nice! Overall, I appreciated the friendly customer service! The food was great! I couldn’t go wrong with their Volcan roll. Also, tried the Yakimeshi beef, chicken, and shrimp rice, and I pleasantly surprised!

Service was horrible food was pretty good but my god was the service just insufferable! Kept having to yell the waitress’s name or get another waitress to ask for OURS and they kept dancing and laughing with their fellow coworkers just an over all annoying experience.
