The food was out of this world good! The homemade pasta made the meal so much more hearty. The owner came over to all the tables to thank them and talked with everyone! Love the new remodel! I would highly recommend this place.

I have previously enjoyed It’s A Utica Thing! Food truck on multiple occasions and highly enjoyed them. So much that I was craving some good riggies and found they had opened a restaurant! We were excited to go, but I was a little disappointed. We ordered the mezza Luna’s for an appetizer, which were delicious, not easy to mess up fried mozzarella though. When my riggies order came out I was disappointed to see the chicken looked horrible, it was rubbery and weird looking and all hidden under my pasta. The pasta tasted like there was alcohol not cooked out of the sauce enough or something, I’ve had the riggies before and this does not do them justice. The meal looked much better than it tasted.

$16.31 for an order of Utica greens take out. Are you out of your minds? Really? Just passing thru town, our normal spot was sold out because of a catering order, I passed by and figured I would give it a shot since I had your food at the fair. Hard pass. You are ripping people off and should be openly called out for it. Your food isn’t worth that. Your restaurant is in a plaza next to a Laundromat and a Chinese take out and a big lots. Ya serious?

The newly renovated place is beautiful but the prices were way too high for what you get. I ordered a large half meatball/half pepperoni and mushroom and a “one size” antipasto. When I went to pick up my order, the staff member seemed like I was bothering her. My pizza was a small pizza and when I reminded her that I had ordered a large she said “that’s the only size we have”. My food was left under the counter so my pizza was cold and the salad had wilted because it was stored on top of the pizza. I will not be returning. What a disappointment! We loved Charlie’s Pizza. Very sad to see it go.

My husband and I stopped for an early Sunday dinner on our way home from Old Forge, NY. We decided to sit at the bar and had excellent service from the bartender. We tried Utica Greens and fried calamari appetizers; both were excellent and definitely portioned to share. We decided to have a wedge salad at the restaurant and order pasta dinners to take home. Wedge salad was fresh and the mix of balsamic and blue cheese dressing was outstanding.

Had lunch here and it was absolutely delicious I would come back again!! The bread was fresh and butter was delicious. The best part was the chicken parm! We also got the eggplant parm and a salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh!

Lovely restaurant, able to easily accommodate a 12 top with no issues. : ) Our server was Elmina, who was friendly, courteous, and professional. Jacob, another wonderful (and cheerfully entertaining) server, was great with helping run food to the table when it was ready and keeping beverages full. The food all came out for the 12 of us at the same time, which is a great compliment to a busy restaurant full of other diners! A nice, straight-forward menu, with classics and simple Italian-style fare. This restaurant has a full bar available as well. Staff worked together well with smiles on their faces, and a manager-figure circulated the dining area ensuring that things were going smoothly. Overall, a fun experience. I’ll swing by again for sure.

I went to a dinner there with a friend after work I was impressed by the decor and atmosphere but overall had a bad experience sat at the bar and the bartender was a lot of fun but was disappointed when he forgot my friends order who actually ordered before I did we found this out when my food came first and the poor hungry guy had to watch me eat first. The food overall was average beyond belief nothing fancy
