New folks took over the kitchen which is why they may have been shut down for a few days. ( update ) thai thai IS still there but the new owners will be calling it NAM TOK and thy will be using that new web page. My pics are as of Sunday the 26th of November. It’s a beautiful location away from the crowded congestion of downtown Bend. It’s also very roomy with seating on both sides of the building on either side of the cooking area. They cook on the inside in a section where you can watch them cook. They have a small bar and they have a bar out on the deck in back. The seating on the side of the building is a beautiful little Nook of tables with a pleasant atmosphere. The stonework Pleasant architecture give this atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Our waiter, a very pleasant young man, is becoming quite knowledgeable on his dinner plates and enjoyed learning how I learned to speak certain dishes in Thailand, grabbing a pen and taking notes. The food was very good. Every place has its own slight spin on sauces and this satisfied me perfectly. Just be prepared to possibly spend a little bit more here, with a dinner and a soda for two running about $37.

Start with the good…the setting for the outdoor seating is fantastic. Great views. Service is enthusiastic, but not at all polished. Interior decor is, well… loosely Thai themed. Food is mediocre at best. We had a large number of dishes and most were underwhelming. Flavors bland and not bright or distinctive.

Decided to do something different and skip the Bend scene for dinner at NW Crossing. Thai Thai did not disappoint! Their happy hour beverages and snacks were great as was the service. Our entrees were also warm and fresh. Glasses were kept full, we were tended to regularly, and the bill was delightfully reasonable for a full night of apps, drinks, and food. Will be back soon for more.

Loved the won tons and the pad Thai is incredible. This place has some great views and is located off the beaten path in Bend. The owners are very good to us when we eat here. I would highly recommend this over any of the Thai food restaurant’s downtown.

This place was awesome. So glad we went here. The portions were pretty decent. I eat a lot and I had enough leftovers to take home and I’m looking forward to eating them. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and service was fast. Our food came out fresh within like 5 minutes of ordering. I’ve sat in a mcdonalds drive thru for longer. Also it was so affordable! My entree was like 11 bucks ! Most restaurants charge like $18 for an entree! I’m definitely going here again!

Ths was third attempt at Thai food in Bend. I came here based on the previous reviews. I was sorely disappointed with the food. I ordered the spicy basil. It was not spicy at all. All I could taste was the salt in the sauce. I couldn’t even taste the the sauce on the chicken. My wife’s food was good which I’d why they got a 1. I might come back again, but only because bend lacks Thai options.

The food is overall consistently good. The serving staff needs to be trained. We had to call someone to our table to take our order. We we’re then served and never saw another person come to the table until the check. I hold the owner responsible for poor training!

Service was great. For the area it was probably great Thai food but coming from an area with a large Asian population my taste buds have been jaded in this aspect. I was also with someone who does no stars and i do 3-4 stars.

Food is good, as is location. Service is spottier than I’d like, and seems like a case by case: some nights were with attentive and consistent waiters/waitresses, some nights were not. Excellent vegetarian choices.
