Why did it take me this long to visit Blue Moon Bar & Grill? After almost living in Las Cruces for a decade, I finally visited Blue Moon. Cocktails were well prepared (and not weak ) and the food was tasty. Will be back for sure!

Service was slow and the food was well below average. The fish tasted scorched on the outside but was still mushy on the inside. I also found something inside the fish that was maybe skin. We also had to constantly swat away flies the whole time we were there.

Stop in for a cold beverage, listen to some cowboy honky tonk, or watch sports from one of multiple screens. I do love me a good local hangout. Crispy crunchy fish and chips take away. So good! Made the end of this Winny the Pooh blustery day end great. It’s a keeper. And they were so kind to honor my request and not salt my fries.

Everything was great. We had wings with Moon Sauce and Queso Blanca Fries with Asada. The wings were perfectly cooked and the sauce was very tasty, however for us it could have been spicier. Our server was phenomenal. She was friendly, personable and efficient. She was running the entire bar and dining tables on a busy Friday afternoon by herself!! Kudos to an outstanding employee.

The new Blue Moon is awesome. It is all new, clean, with pool tables, an indoor AND outdoor bar, and with some good food. It has an outdoor stage and large dance area. My only complaint is weird too bright LED lights pointed at the crowd so you can’t see the band.
