My husband and I stopped in for my first visit at Smokey Bones. Our server was Destiny. She was very pleasant, helpful, and fun. We shared a 8 piece boneless wing and a Mag Nachos. When you go to a restaurant it’s typically for food but we left there saying how much fun we had. The food was great!

Simply put, it kind of sucked. Right upon entering the restaurant I was forced into viewing one of the largest and ugliest @$$es Ive ever seen, which was on a waitress who was wearing very short cut-off jeans, if you can picture that, and she was about 5’2″. Just what I want to see when going to eat. The waitress that actually served me was someone else, and she was OK. The prices seemed normal until I received my food, which was about 2/3 to 1/2 of what I expected based on the price charged. When the food finally came out, it wasn’t really even that hot, except for the smoked wings, but the ribs, brisket, and smoked sausage were warm, and the chicken was like warm. This was some special thing you can get that is for 2,3, or 4 people and comes out on a little grill with a couple of pieces of charcoal in it, but it doesn’t actually cook anything..

First time dining in Dayton. Blown away by the brisket, potato wedges, ribs, and donuts! Service was friendly, helpful, and incredible. Definitely a 5 star experience! Great booths and you definitely will not leave hungry. Spoiled by the experience!

My family and I went out to dinner and Ashley was our server. She was absolutely fantastic, she answered all my questions about the menu and made a great suggestion. She recommended the salmon and it was so good. When I go back to Smokey bones I’m making sure to ask for her section!

Ordered online received burnt food and the ribs looks like they used their hands, instead of a knife. Called with complaint Manger offers a refund or to remake the meal. Returned two days later and the Manger had my name in the computer and my meal was excellent.

My family had gone here 5-6 years ago; it had been a family favorite for special occasions. Food had always been great, always crowded, lively atmosphere, etc. We went there around 5:30 on a Saturday night.

Gabby, our waitress, was great! Misty, the manager was very friendly and helpful. We stopped for dinner after checking in to a hotel nearby while on a road trip and really enjoyed our meal. It was later in the evening, and many of the other area restaurants were closed or soon would be. We were very glad to find a spot that was opened late.

Used them to cater our wedding! Excellent food, excellent service. Food was on time and everything was cooked to perfection. We had many guests compliment the food and say to us that it was some of the best BBQ they’ve had. The manager Bob was a pleasure to work with. He sat down and made sure we had everything we wanted and answered all our questions and worries. He made sure we had the right amount of food, not too much or too little. Sure enough it was the perfect amount. Would highly recommend coming here for catering or even for an evening out! Great service, great food, good times!
