Absolutely delicious! The mild sauce is spicy but not overwhelmingly spicy. The clams were nice and big and omg the crab was actually cooked perfectly! Not like places that over steam it or boil it and it sticks to the shell. I ordered to-go and it came with everything including gloves which I was so happy about so I will definitely be coming back and totally recommend this place.

Randomly found this place and had to try it because I’ve desperately wanted a Cajun food style place near town. I ordered the $18.99 Octopus meal combo with Medium heat and the Trap sauce. Found it to be perfectly spicy and I enjoyed everything included (Sausage, Rice, Boiled Egg). My son ordered the Crawfish which he loved and we split an order of the Cajun fries. Staff was nice, helpful and friendly.

Went here for my birthday and it was a blast! Upon walking in, being seated and served , the staff were very friendly and attentive. The music was GOOD. A lot of old school hits were being played which made the experience better. And the food was GREAT. Well seasoned, fresh and just overall very delicious. The corn and crab were my favorites! Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t checked them out .

Today was a mix feelings day for my first and possibly last visit to the Cajun Trap…. For days I was very excited about the hype and the good things on social media…. We finally made it in today and we were left with a $115 bill and a bit disappointed. We ordered the $45 combo which includes 3 sides… ordered mussels, shrimp and sides potatoes (got a single tiny and very hard potato, corn on the cob which only had a piece of corn and sausage which came with a good portion ( 1 sausage) also ordered the octopus plate with 2 sides… again the potatoes (got a tiny and also hard potato) and an egg. Flavor was definitely there. Good and tasty… when it was time to dig in to the mussels we were in for a surprise… at least half of the mussels shells were empty. (To give credit some had fallen into the bag but some were just an empty shell.) when we looked at the menu, the drinks said no refills which we were surprised. When the waiter came around to check on how we liked our food i mentioned about the hard potato and how a single tiny potato would be considered a side and his response was that if i wanted more I could get an extra side of potatoes for an extra $2. Not an apology or at least to try to make things right. I also ordered the kids corn dog meal which had pieces of hot dog with a huge lump of batter. Overall I was very disappointed to get a $96 bill for such a bad experience. I did not complain or made a scene and just simply paid my bill and when the waiter asked me if I was going to come back I said probably not and he just stayed quiet and walked away. A lot of flavor and hype but definitely not worth $115.

Went there to celebrate and was let down. I will start with the good: The waitress was kind and knew the menu. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The TRAP sauce was good. I ordered a pound of shrimp, 3 potatoes, 1 corn on the cobb, sausage, and 1lb of lobster tail for $18.00. Again, the trap sauce was good but the rest of the food wasn’t great. The shrimp were small and quite honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if they came from a frozen bag. The 1lb for $18 lobster tail was 1 small lobster tail that wasn’t cracked open and very difficult to eat. The sausage was average at best. Honestly, I think everything was pretty much store bought frozen foods except the trap sauce. I tried to discuss this with my waitress but she blamed the food vendors who supply their supplies. I don’t know if I would go back considering my bill was $74.85 for mediocre food. I was REALLY hoping for a great CAJUN restaurant… this isn’t it.

We stumbled upon The Cajun Trap, and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious! The staff were cute as a button. And the atmosphere was so fun. My only complaint would be the “club lights”. At first it wasn’t bothersome. But, we sat right across from the strobe… that was a bit much after it went off a few times. But, the food was totally worth it!!!

I placed an order over the phone on Mother’s Day, 05/14/23, and I was pleasantly surprised. The customer service was great, she answered all my questions and the food was AMAZING. I got 1 lb of whole shrimp in medium Cajun sauce, added potatoes and sausage and a side of rice and I devoured everything it was $39, not too pricey. I will definitely be back

For whatever reason they keep deleting negative comments on their Instagram account and blocking whoever makes negative comments on there. Their food was ok not great or good just ok. They served us bad corn it was either overcooked or just old. The garlic bread was not toasted enough and it seems frozen. The lemons were on the slimy side not as fresh. They put everything in a serving tray thats meant for decoration. On top of that they don’t have good tools for picking the lobster and crab meat out. They give you a pair of cheap scissors and a cheap black fork with cheap gloves. The food wasn’t completely horrible. The shrimp, small potatoes, eggs and crab meat were good. But I spent almost $200 dollars that day and it should have been so much better for that price. On top of that I witnessed a waitress spill the sauce from their decorative tray on a bench and a girls leg. Thankfully it didn’t get all over her. But the trays are not good for the food and sauce. The music was all over the place they kept pausing and playing and skipping the songs. The atmosphere could be better. Please work on your negative things and please be able to take constructive criticism. You have potential and I wish you all good luck! And I’m giving a 1 star because you keep deleting constructive criticism comments on your social media and blocking the people. You should be able to take the good with the bad.

Our go-to has been Crab Hut. With it being so far away, this place fills the void well. The mussels were big, the shrimp were big, and the heat index was skrong. Very reminiscent of Low Country Boil servings I’ve had in Savannah. We read the other comments about the food looking like it was microwaved… they’re wrong.
