Granted it was during the BAO festival and they were busy but they relied on a QR code system for the crowd of people. System went down and they didn’t even know what orders had been made so we waited for over an hour for cold, undercooked fries. And we didn’t get the sauces we ordered. People who walked up and ordered after us got their order before we did. Everyone was standing around and they had opportunity to inform everyone what was going on and they didn’t. Also probably not a great idea to only have 2 people working on a busy afternoon.

Great to see a more permanent food place at Cahaba! They had good food. I will say if you don’t like your wings super spicy, they are probably not for you – I like spicy Buffalo but it was more intense than I expected. Edit – I thought it was just me but someone else also couldn’t finish the wings. They are VERY spicy. Might need to tone it down, especially since the ranch is kinda peppery.

UPDATE: It’s been awhile now and they’ve settled in. A friend of mine had the burger a few weeks ago and highly recommended it. I was still skeptical because of my first experience with it, but went back again and tried the burger. They’ve figured it out. It’s delicious. I’m glad they got this resolved because it’s so close to my house that it may be the new burger joint for me.

We sampled the smoked wings, the BBQ beef brisket and the onion rings at Cahaba Brewery. These guys know how to make some delicious food! I would recommend this to anyone! The food was so good we are coming back the next time we are in Birmingham.
