I’ve been dining here for 47 years. It has been my go-to place for steak. I don’t know what exactly the new owner has changed, but it is not as good as it used to be. The last steak there was not as tender and was missing the “Dobie’s” flavor. We love the servers and bartenders here; so I sincerely hope the new owner pays attention to these reviews. I’ve heard from many long time customers that say they will not return.

We come here for dinner on Sundays often. Sam, the bartender, is very nice and her cocktails are always on point. We also had an awesome waitress, Tina. Drinks are the main reason we come here, the food is awesome too.

Fantastic service pairs with a classic supper club vibe at Dobie’s Steak House. The lazy Susan and bread basket are great! Standard iceberg house salad, and Soup offering (The restaurant ran out of the house soup so we were served French Onion). Very good shrimp and the steak was cooked to a good medium rare while being somewhat bland.

For me personally, I did not care for Dobie’s. Granted they are a steak house and I got chicken, but still. If you’re going to put it on the menu, it should be quality cuts and cooked properly.

As always the food and service is amazing. Been coming to this place for years and no owners will be taking over soon, big shoes to fill. If you are ever in the area this is a for sure place for fish fry, steaks, shrimp etc and of course a Old Fashion from a Supper Club. Enjoy!!

First time going here for dinner and it was awesome!! My honey ordered the Porterhouse Steak and it was the biggest I’ve ever seen! I ordered Tenderloin with Shrimp and the Shrimp were the biggest I’ve ever seen also! Awesome waitress Kimberly who has been there for 14 years! Definitely recommend this Steakhouse for dinner…. Bartender was friendly and made my honey a GREAT Brandy Alexander!

Always wanting to give this place a try we finally did this past week. It was a Friday night around 7:30pm. Good crowd and it was busy. I had the porterhouse medium rare with mushrooms. It was fantastic. Also had a few old fashioned which where good as well. Finished with some homemade cheesecake. Overall it was great and will be back! If your looking for a great local establishment, this is one to check out!

We visited this on our attempt to visit every supper club in Wisconsin. This is a decent supper club if you’re looking for a casual bite and excellent service! Lots of menu options too. Everything we ordered was pretty good. I just wish my baked fish was a little more crispy (although I did eat the entire thing, and it was huge!), and the liver pâté didn’t really taste like anything. The onion haystack appetizer was awesome! Plus all of the workers were really nice and attentive. Not too much of an ambience, per se, but very friendly crowd! 7/10 would recommend, but not sure I’ll make the trip to eat there again.
