Let me start out by saying that all the one-star reviews must of been at a different restaurant. I went to the Surf and Turf of Westbrook and received nothing but excellence! The food was made to order. I am a very picky eater and had no complaints! Heard the music playing and decided to stop on by. Enjoyed the music. Delicious nachos with my wife and I enjoyed while we drank some beers and listened to the music. Defiantly coming back and recommend everyone else come back for a second try!

First time here and it was wonderful! George, the owner offered great conversation.. He showed us many new ideas that are coming. Our server was very good. I ordered the prime rib special and enjoyed it so much! My husband was very happy with the strip steak he ordered. They are going to have lots of live entertainment coming, and will offer whole belly clams by the end of the month! Can’t wait to return!

Very poor restaurant! Just to begin, they need to get rid of the leather sofa sitting in the foyer, it is not a living room. As we were approaching the restaurant another couple warned us not to bother going in because the service was lousy and steak was cold, plus they were out of most items on the menu. As this other couple was talking to us the manager came running out screaming at them not to talk to us! We should of left because it only got worse. 45 min to get 2 cocktails and 4 waters. No ice in the water and there was a lime already squeezed in half in the water, gross! Was it used? The coffee was like mud! Most of the items we were ordering were out of stock. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was unacceptable. They need to regroup before the summer season or they will be out of business. The tall man that followed up those customers yelling need to take a course in restaurant management. He was truly unprofessional.

We gave this place a chance but it was a disappointing experience. First, they did not have what we originally ordered, then they burnt our new orders to a crisp (I honestly don’t know why they served it at all. The waitress even commented on how overcooked it was.) The pub’s dining area was unclean, one of the windows had a visible crack, and the doors leading to the patio kept getting jammed, which is not only inconvenient to the staff but is dangerous in the event of an emergency. We appreciated them taking money off for the burnt food, but I am afraid we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE in this place. We went there on Sunday in the middle of summer and it was empty, the carpet stinks. It has one waitress and one bartender that was wearing sunglasses inside of the place all the time, both of them didn’t know what they were doing even the kitchen staff. We ordered a steak with a lobster tail it came super dry the Mac&cheese for the kids had no cheese and was full of parsley. We tried to make an complain about the food but one of the managers was rolling her eyes in front of us.

I’m being generous giving this version of a Surf & Turf one star. The waitress was clueless and did not control the proper intervals for delivering each course. We were still eating our appetizers when our mini salad was put in front of us. We didn’t get though half of our very small salad before our entree was brought to the table. I questioned the timing and was told that the chef suggested we eat it now as the beef (rib eye) was ready to be consumed. I suggested that she take it back as we weren’t ready to eat it now. When we were ready, the beef was thin and stringy. The stuffed? Shrimp was the worst I have ever had. They were tough, tasted fishy and were oddly stuffed with some concoction that was jammed into a small slit along the back of the shrimp. They were supposed to be jumbo but were questionably large. If you picture a normal stuffed shrimp which is butterflied and stuffed with crab meat, breading etc., then surprise, it’s not what you’re going to get. I had asked sour cream to accompany my baked potato. It was brought out in a small plastic cup that the server put directly on my plate. It fell on its side, so instead of just leaving it be, she put her hand on my plate again to turn it right side up. It was obvious to me that they had not hired even one waitress with any experience to teach and coordiante the staff.

RUNAWAY! My family enjoys good food. A chef and a traveler who eats all over and kids who know good food. Without talking about the shaky service, I will skip to the paper thin badly cooked steaks. Canned food and canned vegetables. In short my family all ran for the bathrooms.s upon arriving home and 2 have full on food poisoning. We wanted to try and support a new place. But this is the first time in 20 years I feel like I was completely stolen from! Horrible!

When you go to a place called Surf and Turf, get the Surf and Turf for your entree, and the best thing you are served are the French fries that you had to add for an extra charge. $30 for the bland food and poor service was just unacceptable. We were given a Pub Menu and had to ask for a Dinner Menu. Took at least 5 minutes to, in the words of the server, “Track one down” should just all be one menu. I understand that this restuarant just opened, but I will not be going back. It’s too bad. I really wanted it to be good. Just all around disappointed. I

Caprese portabella mushroom appetizer was yummy. The burger and salmon with lemon butter were great. They will improve the service as the crew gets experience. They were every pleasant and immediately respondes when anything was missing.
